Friend of mine and I were passing through and decided to stop in. Very cool place and really unique set up. My friend's back has been hurting him for the past week and he felt much better after soaking in the hot water in the caves. Our visit was during the May long weekend and it was not crowded at...

The hot springs were a little busier than we would have liked and lots of kids. Also they closed very early at 9:30. The cave was neat though. We got a suite at the hotel and it was decent but not worth $300. Likely would not go back. The food in the restaurant was huge portions but terrible and greasy...

The hot springs were fantastic! The pools were so refreshing before dinner and the following morning before breakfast. The room was very nice with a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. Although not large, three of us were comfortable in the room. We didn't use the in room coffee but the fridge was nice to have especially since we...

Definitely worth a bit to these springs. I visited the Banff hot springs while I was there and there weren't even a patch on these. These were quiet and there was plenty of space in the pool but someone was still overlooking the pool so you did feel safe. There is a warm pool, a hot pool with caves and...

The Men's change room is always cold no privacy for changing or showering, no paper towels, cheap shower gel bring Your own, Now They put lockers in Men's changing room for Hotel guests only!! So the changing room is even smaller. The smell of chlorine is so strong in the caves makes your eyes water, cheap shower gel does not...

Thank you for your comments regarding the Men's change room that have been noted. Chlorine levels are mandated by Interior Health for all public pools and we monitor ours daily. Some people are more sensitive to Chlorine and we have had no recent concerns similar to yours. Regrettably your comments regarding our lounge and menu are erroneous. There is no...

At the end of a long road trip that saw over 1500 kms in a week, the Hot Springs were high on my list to conclude the tour. They did not disappoint. That being said, the venue has changed hands, and the water in the warm pool had a green tinge while the water in the hot pool (cave) was...

Thanks for your visit and great review. I do want to explain about the water. The main pool does show a bit of sediment for a few days after the bi-monthly sand filter change. The darker color in the cave pool is a result of unfiltered minerals from the natural underground hot spring. The water does, however, appear a bit...

We enjoyed the super friendly staff and the soaking experience at Ainsworth. The main pool is a bit on the cool side (96 F) but the small pool at the entrance/exit to the caves is perfect. I wondered about depth of water in the caves but it is so shallow you can stand up and walk through. The best experience...

The room was very cleaning, the services were good. Nice experience of hot spring, I suggest you bring your water bottle with you when you go to the hot spring. And, if it is a sunny day, don't forget your sun glasses. We got Easter treat from the hotel, thank you 😊

My friends and I go for a monthly treat to soak in the hot springs and then have lunch at the hotel. The food at the hotel is great. The menu is varied and has some great items like Bison burgers and Bannock Tacos. The hot springs are fabulous too!

Thanks very much for your visit and review. Glad you enjoyed your lunch; our new Chef has created a fabulous menu using fresh, locally (BC) sourced ingredients. Our newly renovated main restaurant is now open as well! Thanks for your patronage of Ainsworth!
