Palm beach is one of the hotels we stayed twice when we went to Sri Lanka. They had a nice staff, and Good food. Few things that they should be thinking of upgrade is their Pool. It has broken tiles on the bed, and cut through my little daughter’s leg. People leaving plates outside of their rooms probably after using... More

The service was terrible. The headwaiter was very rude when we mentioned about coffee being cold. when we asked for clean cutlery the waiter just rubbed the soon with his thumb and said its clean. Except for one or two staff others were very unprofessional and unpleasant, Food was bellow average, not much choice for vegetarian. Towels were not clean,... More

I would like to say that this is the most Unpleasant and Unprofessional Hotel which I have been ever. Takes Rs. 8200 as the room charge but worth only around 1000 or 1500. You can enjoy broken bathrooms and unclean linens. Staff took more than 1 hour to provide an Iron for me. No bills are issuing.

I really wanted to like this place, but in the end, cannot recommend it at all. The rooms are large but very musty, tons of mosquitoes in the lobby, which was the only place that had wifi. Unfortunately, we needed to do some work while at the hotel, and the wifi was spotty. The hotel is in Mt. Lavinia, which... More

We stayed for one night on arrival in Sri Lanka and then has another two nights at the end of our trip. We got the same room both times. We had a lovely room on the ground floor. Quite a large room with a dining table and chairs and another seating area. There is a back door to the room... More

Please DO NOT stay in this hotel. Luckily for me i was carrying the booking copy, as Front Desk was charging a different rate on checking out. Though the difference was only $8 they should stand to their commitment. We reached here at about 9:30 pm on 11th Sept, and checked out by 4:30am on 12th Sept. I had made... More
