This is a very old motel and appears somewhat tired: Not exactly run-down but sadly in need of some TLC. Beds, furnishings, bedding, towels and the like have all seen better days, but at this price point we wouldn't expect the same standards as a mid-scale chain property. That said, the room was serviceable and we got a good night's...

Conveniently located after all the chain hotels in Dickinson and just before Teddy Roosevelt NP. Looks ok from the outside, built like an old fort. There is a restaurant attached and a gas station. The swimmingpool was closed when we were there. The room we had was nice, big and clean. TV and wifi very good no comments there. You...

Staff at the hotel, restaurant & bar all acted like it was a pain in the butt to have guests. Room mediocre, beds & furniture old but clean. People on the balcony smoking & partying all night. Didn't get much sleep. Hotel gives coupon for buy one, get one free at bar. Bartender turns her back while pouring drinks so...

Do not give them your debit/credit card!! We practically live out of motel rooms because of our business so I'm pretty versed in motel policy, etc. I don't like giving bad reviews and I'm always honest about the conditions, etc... Because I also count in others to do the same. I was very hesitant about giving my card over but...

I had never heard of this place, but my brother-in-law told me about it. What a nice surprise the rooms are large with 2 queen beds. Microwave and a fridge. There was also free internet. Room was clean and beds very comfortable. We went to Medora for the musical and found the motels there 2 times the rate compared to...

Very nice and clean room. The décor made you think of being in a lodge. They give you coupons for drinks and breakfast - and they have the best biggest homemade rolls!! The staff was very friendly. They also have a great gift shop. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This was a stop on a trip to Yellowstone so we were looking for a place to park, hook up and sleep - if fulfilled that need but it's sketchy. It's basically a gravel parking lot with places to hook up your electric and septic. Desk staff was slow but helpful in general. There are long term campers at the...

I was wonderfully surprised with the room. And the extra coupons I got for breakfast and drink specials. The staff was Very friendly and helpful with the area. I was impressed with the ease of check in with my husbands credit card and him not with me. They made the stay very easy at a very difficult time.

Trappers Inn is situated at the entrance to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, just off 94West. The facade of the main offfice, restaurant, and lounge are made to look like a log cabin/fort/lodge, depending on your point of view, and the interiors of these buildings are decorated in the log cabin style, with wood beams and paneling. There are dozens...

We pulled in to The Trappers Inn after traveling from upper Michigan, in a driving rain, at night, on motorcycles. Needles to say, any port in the storm would have sufficed. The Trappers Inn however, turned out to be a comfortable, quiet place to stay, with a nice bar/pizza joint attached to the hotel. Rooms were a bit dated, but...
