I stayed at the Brookstown Inn two nights over Memorial Day weekend. This is a beautiful, charming hotel. The rooms are very large for the price with a cozy, hometown feel. The breakfast includes both hot and cold options. My friends and I stayed outside in the courtyard for a few hours one evening felt like we were in a... More

A unique hotel in an old cotton mill. The room was enormous and truly comfortable. We loved the extras like wine and cheese and milk and cookies and the breakfast exceeded expectations. All the staff we had contact with were polite and charming. We would stay there again.

Hotel was very clean. Located in historical Winston-Salem. Easy walk to downtown. Hotel used to be a mill for cotton and is unique with a lot of history. We really enjoyed our stay there. The evening cheese and wine was a great way to relax after a long day.

A definite break from the standard chain hotel. The rooms and space, in general, have character and the history is interesting. The included breakfast is exceptional. It is worth getting up for. Seriously. Do not miss it. The coffee is also great. Plus, there is a stocked Keurig in the room. There's a nice shaded courtyard you can enjoy if there... More

An acceptable hotel not one to which I would return. Side hotel door left propped open ( not equipped with key card access)! Bathroom grout dirty . Room dark and depressing overlooking a parking lot. Just not a pleasant experience! Inn could be really nice if a few $$$ were invested in upgrades.

My wife and I slipped away for an incredibly relaxing and hospitable stay. We were greeted by a warm and friendly staff led by Alex who was the consummate hostess. She took all the time we needed even though they were prepping for a wedding in a few hours. The room was spacious and newly renovated with beautiful new bathrooms... More

Brookstown Inn was the greatest! Personnel was spot on all the time. I made reservations almost a year in advance and everything went smoothly! I have stayed here in the past but was again surprised by the comfort and quality of this inn. I would stay here again and recommend it highly!

This could have been a great experience except for our dungeon of a room. Our fault for not realizing it and requesting a change. Advice: be sure you look at your room and check that the windows look out to real daylight before accepting it. We had a wonderful two level space with old brick walls and two huge windows... More

Arrived Friday, May 15th for Commencement celebration. My daughter and I were given a room on the fourth floor. We had two large suitcases and two smaller ones, plus a small cooler. Got on the elevator and discovered there was no fourth floor button. Ask the front desk if there was another elevator (perhaps we overlooked) and were told "no",... More

We were at the Brookstown Inn for a family graduation and were treated well from the time we arrived until the moment we left. The hotel is lovely and there are many special "extras"--that added to the enjoyment of our stay. We plan to return when we are next in Winston-Salem.
