Clean, friendly staff, helpful, central location near Old Salem, good breakfasts, coffee always available. Caution: don't stay in 226 or nearby when Wake Forest classes are being held on level 3--very noisy.

Friendly staff, and clean, comfy rooms created inside an historic mill make this a unique experience. Love having plenty of free parking and being close to great restaurants downtown. Ditto what others said about the special amenities, especially the wine and cheese time and Sally, the world's sweetest kitty. This was our second stay. We'll be back. Thanks for the...

From the resident cat, to the complimentary wine & cheese party, to the high ceilings and exposed brick, to the supposed haunting of room 401, we had a delightful time. Friendly staff as well! We'll definitely be back! We stayed in room 301 which was nice.

We found the Brookstown Inn by referral from a friend. What a lovely weekend getaway. We spent a night in this retrofitted textile mill and had a wonderful time. The rooms are well done and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic. Wine and cheese from 5-7PM is pleasant. Highly recommend. The Inn is located 1 block from Old Salem and a very...

This is a lovely inn in a great downtown location in walking distance of restaurants and shops - try the Camino coffee shop for breakfast. Large, comfortable, immaculate rooms with more than enough space for a pack n' play for my baby. Room service from a nearby restaurant that has an arrangement with the hotel was delicious and arrived promptly...

This place has it all. Close to everything including walking distance to Old Salem. The beds are the most comfortable and high end quality. I was a bit confused about the reservation and felt the marketing team may be a little deceitful. I booked online. I thought, incorrectly, that I had a package deal that included tickets to Old Salem...

Dear travelerlncus, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback from your recent stay at the Historic Brookstown Inn. It's great to see that you enjoyed our comfortable beds and complimentary hot breakfast. We stayed at the Brookstown Inn while in town visiting Wake Forest. The hotel is quaint and historic with brick exterior and interior and welcoming, friendly staff. Parking is easy right out front. The location is good near several restaurants and walking distance to Old Salem. The issue is with the rooms: they are definitely showing some wear with old...

Although well located and architecturally interesting, this property is in need of a serious face lift. The reception area, common areas looked grungy. Our room looked as though it hadn't been painted in years. Dirty, old stained carpeting and even though windows very large it was dark with inadequate lighting that made for a dreary stay. Not likely to return.

This is our second year to stay here. It is a perfect location as my husband just has to take the elevator to the third floor to do his consulting work with Wake Forest! We enjoyed walking to the Old Salem area for lunch and had a great dinner at the Willows Bistro also close by. The wine and cheese...

We got to the hotel a little late for the complementary wine and cheese. No problem! Mike set us up with a nice glass of wine and a plate of cheese. The rooms were spacious and we loved the historical feel! We woke up feeling refreshed and well-rested. We walked across the street and had a wonderful Italian dinner. We...
