This is our second year to stay here. It is a perfect location as my husband just has to take the elevator to the third floor to do his consulting work with Wake Forest! We enjoyed walking to the Old Salem area for lunch and had a great dinner at the Willows Bistro also close by. The wine and cheese...

We got to the hotel a little late for the complementary wine and cheese. No problem! Mike set us up with a nice glass of wine and a plate of cheese. The rooms were spacious and we loved the historical feel! We woke up feeling refreshed and well-rested. We walked across the street and had a wonderful Italian dinner. We...

We stayed in a queen loft room! The whole experiences was amazing. From getting there to leaving was perfection! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The wine and cheese, cookies and milk, and full breakfast was more than we expected and high quality but most of all we loved the look, feel , and charm of the hotel it self! Well...

The rooms are spacious and have that wonderful historic feeling. Beds are comfortable and the front desk staff is ALWAYS friendly and ready to help. The wine each night and then milk and cookies give it a B&B feel in a hotel. It's also conveniently located next to one of the best bakeries in town - Camino!

This historic inn is a wonderful place to stay. It's quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and willing to help. Sally, the cat, oozes contentment and draws you in to sit a while in the lobby in the comfortable chairs. We have stayed here several times and will continue to do so. Old Salem is within walking distance...

Loved this place! Stayed one night for business but felt like a mini-vacation. Wine and cheese reception, included breakfast (eggs, good bacon, baked goods, etc) and a lovely period-style room with comfy bed, nice shampoos, etc. Now I want to come back to WS with my family just to stay here again and explore the surroundings.

The In was old but nice and the staff were incredible. They were definitely there to insure you had a great experience. There were places to eat within walking distance along with old salem. The rooms were large and the bed was quite comfy. We would recommend for couples wanting to check out old Salem.

We were met by a disinterested front desk, enjoyed a so-so afternoon reception, and had a barely adequate breakfast. Our room was dark and a little shabby (213), and was over the reception area which made for a noisy evening and early morning. It wasn't bad enough to complain about but it certainly doesn't merit a return visit.

Great, large room with exposed brick and unique furnishings. As with most inns, the walls between rooms were not exceptionally sound-proof, but the beds were fabulously comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was lovely with a hot buffet as well as cold selections. Loved the extra touch of cloth tablecloths and napkins at breakfast.
