An experience that will stay with you for all the wrong reasons. Rude and unwelcoming staff and owners who subject you to a 20min monologue on the rules of the house (there are many!), we asked ourselves if we were being checked into a prison rather than a supposedly luxury inn. Their attitude is appalling. The owners and staff would...

My wife and I have enjoyed the Graystone many times over the years. We went there in August 2010 right before I left for a year of deployment in the Middle East. We told the folks at the Inn the reason for the visit and they provided us a free bottle of champaign in the room and made sure to...

My wife and I were looking forward to our stay at the Inn since we are planning to dock our boat in the area this coming winter. We were unfortunately obliged to cancel our reservation mother elderly mother has suffered a relapse and we are on standby ro fly to California. I informed the Inn promptly one week before our...

A beautiful facility. The common rooms are gracious ... Top of the line luxury. An easy walk to downtown. Lovely guestrooms.

Pictures of this inn on its website give the impression that it is set in large grounds. In fact it is in the middle of Wilmington with little more than a backyard as outside space. It is overlooked by the next door property and is extremely close to the Baptist church out back - so no views to speak of....

We had the pleasure of staying at this Inn for a much needed break. The House is beautiful and the rooms are well furnished and very comfortable! Our room on the 3rd floor had a great bathroom and incredibly high ceilings. You truly didn't mind walking up that magnificent staircase! The Innkeepers, Rich and Marcia were warm and fun, and...

Owners and staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. We were only a few blocks from the river so we were able to walk to most things. Rooms were clean and the Inn was very quiet and relaxing.

I stayed at the Graystone Inn during a weekend in October with my family who were visiting from Connecticut. One of the nights I had a friend stay with me, so we had two rooms on the third floor. Previously a mansion, the Inn is extremely elegant. I enjoyed the walk in shower and comfortable bathrobes. I felt as if...

My new fiance and I stayed at the Greystone Inn this past weekend and loved everything about it! The rooms were wonderful, quiet, and private. We didn't even know there were other guests until we shared a marvelous breakfast with them. The 'come and go as you please' style was just perfect for us. Just what a B&B should be!...
