My solo stay at Stemmerman's for a mid-week business trip was perfect for downtown meetings! It's in the middle of everything going on in the historic area. No need to drive or worry about having to walk back to a hotel or B&B on darkened streets. I hope to stay for longer next time. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Could...

My wife and I made a weekend trip to Wilmington and stayed at Stemmerman's Inn for two evenings. We were fatastically greeted by the owner Michael when we arrived. He helped us unpack our vehicle, carry our bags upstairs to our room, showed us our room, told us of the provided amenities and about the covered deck out back (he...

Hey Folks, Thank you so much for the kind remarks and about that Skylight, I have one also in my suite and concur to your opinion. They've been installed and replaced for many years. So enjoy you and your wonderful smiles every time I'd see you. Please hurry back to enjoy more of our Historic Wilmington. Cheers, Mr Michael Manager

We were greeted by the most delightful host and Inn Keeper, Mr Michael. You could not meet a more charming gentleman. We had a lovely chat with him on our arrival and he had lots of stories and helpful information. Our Suite was totally delightful with everything we could possibly want or need and, even when we did find something...

I came across this quaint inn back a few years ago when I was in town for a conference. I have stayed there now three separate times and I love love the place as it is very reasonable and has a European feel to it. It's my go to place when I'm in Wilmington. Mr. Michael is the BEST!!!!!

We had an overnight stay for my hubby's bday and it could not have been more perfect. From the moment you walk in to get your parking pass, you feel welcome.. like family. Mr. Michael is there to greet you and get you settled in. He is full of smiles, knowledge and warmth. I can tell you from first hand...

Great location downtown to walk to all there is to see. Mr. Michael was very nice. Included parking was a plus. Room 7 had a distinct musty odor that was being masked by a flowery room freshener which bothered us. We used the sofa bed for a third guest and unfortunately it creaked every time that person moved ( and...

Best Inn around! I've stayed in a lot of hotels in Wilmington and this was by far the best! The 2 story suites feel like little adorable apartments. The back deck over looking the river is a great place to have a cocktail before you go out or some snacks from your room. The place is also super clean, plus...

My husband and I came up to Wilmington for a few days. Mr. Michael the innkeeper was amazing! It was like a home away from home. The Inn was wonderful and clean. You can't beat the location. We spent one night on the back deck looking out onto the river. Don't expect a Bed and Breakfast, but do expect better...

“I don't completely recall if all rooms had this, but our suite had a skylight in the bedroom upstairs..which was beautiful at night to look at the stars but a bit bright in the morning. We didn't but you may want to ask if there is a way to close it to block some light out if you plan on sleeping in. But I must say, it did not take anything away from my stay. :)”
