Arrive Wilmington garners accolades from guests for its attentive service, inviting atmosphere, and prime location close to dining and historic sites. While the rooms are celebrated for their comfort and cleanliness, some guests mention they are a bit snug and lacking in privacy.
Despite the charming outdoor spaces with fire pits, reviewers often point out the noise from overhead jets and street activity. Additionally, the hotel's value proposition is questioned due to the pricey extras and undisclosed fees, with particular note of the costly valet parking.

This place is fantastic! The type place you dont want others to know about for fear it will become too popular. The rooms are kitschy and comfortable, the common areas are unrivaled - little fire pit groupings secluded around the grounds with an outdoor bar, Great Valet situation , awesome staff. Can't say enough good things. Make sure and add breakfast to your reservation so worth it.

I travel very often for work and for vacations with family/friends and Arrive Wilmington truly is one my favorite hotels I've had the opportunity to stay in. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Wilmington Area! I loved the way the property was laid out and the grounds were very well kept with spots with small bonfires carefully placed for you to gather with friends and/or family. The restaurant and bar on site were delicious (I'd recommend the shrimp and grits at the Dram Yard or the ghost town cocktail at the gazebo bar!) The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and CLEAN which made me feel so at peace when lounging around the room (they're also so nicely decorated - loved the pink tile in the showers.) Every staff member we interacted with were sooo nice! Felt like true southern hospitality haha. Specifically, Ashley and Duncan were so helpful throughout the few days my grandparents and I stayed at the hotel. I must have asked Ashley a dozen different questions and she was so lovely every time we chatted. I also have to point out how patient the entire staff was with my grandparents who are getting to be a little forgetful and little bit slower and I can't emphasize enough how thankful I am for that. I would stay at Arrive Wilmington again without hesitation and look forward to hopefully staying in more Arrive properties in the future!

So first of all, we absolutly enjoyed our stay here, loved our room, and plan to be back.
Check in was easy, relatively painless, and the two people behind the coounter were helpful, and friendly.
The room (a one room suite) was very nice, comfortable, and clean. Loved the large bathroom and shower. The bed was very comfortable.
Evenings were very relaxing, with a drink from the Gazebo, and sittting by fire pits, and we had perfect wether.
But...
Would have liked a self park option.
No coffee maker in the rooms is a big negative for us. Yes you can get good coffee from the Dram Yard, but you have to wait till 7 am, and it aint exactly cheap. The cost of the items in the mini bar seemed a bit pricey compared to other places we have stayed, and haveing some regulare old water as an option would have been nice.
I liked that they keep in touch by text. I felt very informed. I didn't like that they informed us that housekeeping would be at our room shortly but they ended up never coming to clean up or replace supplies.
The limited breakfast items at the Dram Yard were a bit too "trendy" for our tastes. A simple eggs and side option would have been nice.
I like that this is a dog friendly establishment, however hearing the dogs in the room above running around and yapping all morning, because they were locked in the room and left alone was not a very pleasent way to wake up.
So all in all a really nice place to stay, but there are some improvments that could be made.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at ARRIVE Wilmington! Check-in was seamless and the receptionist was amazing (Leila I believe her name was?). The room was adorable and spotless with many thoughtful touches. The hotel grounds were so elegant and cozy, particularly the numerous fire pits where you can enjoy the welcome drink you are given! Super close to downtown (very walkable) and valet was a fantastic touch to ensure our car was safe and we didn't have to worry about it during our stay. My only complaint is the fact that we will not be able to stay here if we return during peak season, as the prices skyrocket (I understand that this is normal for tourist destinations such as Wilmington, however it is quite frustrating nonetheless). Overall we would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family (just not when the prices reach astronomical levels).

The hotel is beautiful, nicely updated and small but comfortable room. It's situated in a great location downtown so there was some late night noise outside (not the hotel's fault). They provide ear plugs in the room so I'm sure they are aware. Easy walking distance to the river walk, Market St. and plenty of coffee, dining, shopping, etc.

I stayed in Wilmington to meet up with my business partner and brought my husband along with me. The staff at Arrive Wilmington were incredibly kind and helpful with someone at the front desk 24/7. The location is great, only a block from downtown with shops and restaurants and a restaurant/bar on site. The courtyard is also great with fire pits in the evening and a garden feel. The rooms are design forward with one of the comfiest beds I've slept in at a hotel. Cute accents and tiling with a mini fridge you can find space for food leftovers. Unique snacks and a variety of beverages in the minibar. The waters are "artesianal" and either $7 or $12 which feels a bit ridiculous, but there's a corner store with snacks and $2 large water a 1 min walk away. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Asked for early check in starting 8 months prior, 1 month prior, 1 week prior, and day-of prior to our wedding day. Staff said they'd do the best they could to execute this request. But in fact, we weren't able to check in until almost 3:45pm, when normal check in was stated as 3pm. This started our wedding day planning/ photography schedule almost 45 minutes delayed. We were very disappointed, especially with the manager who didn't come out to address the issue themself. We thought with all the prior notes, phone calls, and discussions with the staff and even the on-site manager leading up to our visit/ wedding, our room would have taken priority in cleaning after the other guests checked out. A couple complimentary drinks doesn't make up for this inconvenience. My partner and his son had to get changed into their wedding suits in the reception restrooms... unacceptable.

While the room and location were great, we were upset when finding out time of check out there was a $100 per fee that was not stated on booking site. The site also states “free parking” which was not provided. Had we known these things we probably would have chosen another place. The rooms are very attractive, and we enjoyed the location. We also had construction going on above us at 8-9pm and again starting at 7am.

I loved everything about my stay at ARRIVE. Especially the complimentary drink! What a treat after a 2 hour drive. The room was one of the nicest I've stayed at in a long time, I loved the décor, everything looked new. Also, just having a window in the bathroom was a huge perk. Some hotels black the room out so much you don't even know what year it is. I loved being able to navigate my way to the restroom at night without having to turn on any lights. Great location, great view, great staff, etc, etc.

Positives: Great location, big shared courtyard with firepits/fireplace & well decorated "smallish" rooms. Negatives: A bit claustrophobic since no way to see out of room and still have any privacy made worse by the 2 bathroom windows being frosted. Not even 1 bottle of complementary water in room and only coffee is in restaurant at a fee. Overall: We only paid $125+ fees so great for the location, so would recommend if you are only in the attractive room to sleep. $25 per day for valet parking.

I don't think there is a dog fee. We brought 2 dogs with and just paid for the fee that was listed. We took the suite on 1st floor. It was not too spacious but was enough. The area, around the hotel is very dog friendly and I highly recommend it. Perhaps it's best to call the hotel.

We walked a couple blocks to a great coffee shop. Great vibe, coffee, coffee shop food. Very Seattle like. You can also order it at the hotel cafe when it opens.
