We enjoyed the spacious Sanibel suite for a weekend visit. The room was clean and lovely. The home was beautiful and quiet yet still walking distance from the river shopping district. Jay was very helpful and accommodating. We World certainly visit again!

We had the pleasure to stay at Blue Heaven B and B and enjoy Jay's hospitality. His wife left him solo for the weekend and he handled it with aplomb. We brought our dog, Roxie, with us and found Wilmington to be pleasantly dog friendly. There is a degree of serenity in the Wilmington area that is unfortunately becoming difficult...

We visited Wilmington, NC. for two nights. We chose to stay at Blue Heaven in the very comfortable Santibel Central room. There are a lot of different areas of this beautifully restored house to enjoy. There was a formal sitting room downstairs with a less formal one just down the hall from us. I planned to enjoy it but we...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Blue Heaven this March. The owners, Jay and Donna, were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We had complimentary wine in the evening with the owners and other guests, which was a really lovely treat! The room was huge and very comfortable. We will definitely be back to visit!

This was my first time in Wilmington and my stay at Blue Heaven was delightful. I took my parents to Wilmington for an overnight stay in late Dec 2014 and it was a great experience. Jay, the owner, was extremely helpful and accommodating. He gave us a nice walk through the whole bed and breakfast, pointing out historical facts about...

as a B&B owner I enjoy getting a chance to stay at local B&Bs when I travel. This B&B has a room just like mine, for a great value where the bath is located just outside the bedroom. No problem. Breakfast was very impressive and Jay has a way of making you feel at home...

This is the fifth review I have submitted for the Blue Heaven Bed & Breakfast. When thinking about what to write this time, I thought I would write about how the rooms were clean upon arrival (which they were). I thought I would write about how the rooms were quite comfortable (which they were -- I've stayed in the summer...

We stayed in the Sanibel Central room for three nights last weekend. Jay is a very good host who enjoys talking to his guests. It is located about a ten minute walk to the historic section of Wilmington, in a residential area. There is plenty of on-street parking. We would stay here again.

Jay was wonderful during our stay. This was the first time we had stayed at a B&B. He is very knowledgeable about the area and made wonderful suggestions of things to do. We were never bored. The house is beautiful and our room was too. Jay also made the most tasteful breakfasts each morning. He visits the market often and...

My husband and I stayed one night at the Blue Heaven Bed and Breakfast on August 2, 2014. I always check TripAdvisor before I actually book accommodations because I have found them to be extremely helpful, and for the most part, accurate. This B&B has had excellent reviews because it deserves them. Try to read as many as you can...

“I stayed in the Key West room because it had a bathroom included. The decor is Key West green, which is because of it's namesake from a restaurant in key west. I liked the decorations of the Newport room better, because the theme was more stereotypically southern, but I went with the Key West so I could have a bathroom connected (the Newport room has a bathroom across the hall).”
