Stayed here while helping a PGS Tour Rules Official friend set up for the Wells Fargo Championship at Eagle Point Golf Resort. Nice hotel, great breakfast in the morning, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great, convenient location in Wilmington.
We made the mistake of staying here and booked through Priceline with misleading photos and description. It was outdated, smelled terrible and everything was broken and old it was scary. Since we booked through Priceline we couldn't cancel and run... don't make the same mistake...More
This kind of place looks so run down, you should pay by the hour. It's old, unclean and in general seems to be in a not great neighborhood. I feel like they shouldn't charge more than $50.
The bed was king but has to be...More

this is an old style motel where you drive up. It is not very appealing and has a run down look. I was concerned with the safety and concerned about how close to the street it is. Not safe traveling alone. Did not like interior...More

Considering the state of the rooms and facility in general, I would suspect a very liberal pet policy. As always when it comes to pets, it is best to contact the property directly as policy can change abruptly.

Wave Transit has bus service to most points in and around Wilmington. There is a free downtown trolley and Cape Fear Walking Tour (910-762-0492) has a wonderful tour of older homes in Wilmington, with a history, about an hour and a half. There might be hotels more convenient to your purposes of visiting Wilmington than this one. I mentioned this because I stayed there before the closing on my house and it was pretty central to what I needed to do business there (insurance, attorney, etc.). There are local taxi services and a water taxi, and the tours and walks along the Cape Fear River are very interesting. I have lived here only a few months and have not yet explored as much as I plan to when the weather is warmer. Nothing in Wilmington is very far but there are hotels closer to beaches, airport, shops. The 3 main beaches are Wrightsville, Carolina and Kure Beach which is at the southern tip of Carolina Beach. Ft. Fisher, historic from Civil War is there as well as the NC Aquarium. Hope this helps! I can not write websites in my answer.
