We have friends who introduced us to Timberlake and they had been coming here for 20 years with their kids. Now there kids are grown and they take their grandbabies! we camped with our motorcycles and tent and had a ball. Things I liked: - rustic and well maintained - clean restrooms and showers - chilling while dropping a line...

My sweetie found this little campground for us when we had a weekend to get away for a little mountain biking and hiking. What a find! The sites were nice and clean and level with water and electricity and fire pits. (Office has ice and firewood for sale.) Most sites were next to one of the creeks. Bath house was...

We go to North Carolina about the same time every year for the fall leaves. We usually end up in an RV Resort, which is not camping to us. This year my husband discovered this campground and YEAH! we had a beautiful place to camp surrounded by "campers not RVers" and the scenery was spectacular! The rest rooms are a...

We wanted to camp Labor Day weekend near the East side of GSMNP. I found this campground online and it did not disappoint. Families and groups have come here for over 40 years to enjoy the quiet of Conley Creek cove and the fun of fishing, swimming and playing on the grounds. Campsites have electric and water hook ups, a picnic...

For the price all you get is basically a site with electric and water. No cable tv, WiFi is $5.00 a day for password which isn't accessible from your site. You need to walk to the other end of the campground to use it. Don't go at nite to use WiFi. Very rowdy and intoxicated campers there. Makes you feel...

Very clean and quiet. Near Bryson City & Sylva. The reason for the 3 stars is because they charged me an extra 3.00 a day for Ac which we only used about a half hour for 3 days. We ran a fan an slept with windows open. When we were checking out at 7:30 to drive back to Florida no...

Large sites. Some are near a small pond that you can fish or swim in. Most are on a nice creek. The creek is about 10ft wide and ankle to mid-shin deep. Trout fingerlings and crawfish are in it. 2 bathhouses that were well kept and each had a washer and dryer. Only thing to be mindful of is Conleys...
