This hotel was a massive surprise. It was excellent value for money, the rooms were spacious (plenty of room to move around in a room with two queen beds), and really clean. I loved the view of the mountains and the sunrise was spectacular. I shall definitely return again

Place was horrible. Mold, dirt and filth. Bathroom floor was sticky. Had to wear shoes to use restroom. Really gross. My son and I got a room for the night on a weekend fishing trip. If we had spent more than the six hours we did I would have lodged formal complaints with the management, but we were trying to...

I was so happy to find this hotel in October. Large, clean room with wonderful views of the mountains. All rooms have rocking chairs. The 2nd and 3rd floor rooms have actual balconies. The 1st and 2nd floor rooms are both accessible from the ground level- because the hotel is on a hillside, the 2nd floor room access is on...

The room was clean. Bathroom needed serious updating. For example, the toilet lifted from the floor when you sat on it. We stayed for a night and it was ok, it just needs a bathroom redo in my opinion. The "breakfast" was waffles and cereal so plan on eating out.

We arrived around 8 pm. Front desk receptionist less than helpful. No elevator, and we had to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs, dirty room & shady people hanging out in the parking lot. We couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning,

A very decent, clean place to stay. The views from the balcony were good. Very convenient for day trips. We were less than a mile from downtown Waynesville and all of the great shops and restaurants. We would stay here again if ever in the area.

Not much to speak of. Our room was very clean. Wonderful view from the balcony. Some freeway noise with slider open. Visited here during Mathew Hurricane. We tried 6 or 7 motels before we found this one. Others tripled their prices because of so many people fleeing Mathew. This place did not, even though they were sold out. We got...

The only problem I had was that the room was not ready when I arrived (late afternoon) and had received my room key. I think more than one employee did not show up that day and the others were working as hard as they could to get every room ready. The room was comfortable, equipped well (frig and micro, coffee...

Family group stayed here for one night enroute to another location. The view is wonderful. We did not try the pool. You could hear quite a bit of road noise. Breakfast is carb heavy and not much. They do have a waffle maker and coffee. My complaint was a group of noisy men that stood outside the room and talked,...

Staying at the Waynesville Econo Lodge felt very organic, as if I was at home. The staff and owners were very, very kind, accommodating and welcoming. Every morning on the balcony with a fresh cup of coffee, watching the sun rise over the mountains was a daily blessing. En route to the breakfast nook to nosh on the continental breakfast,...
