Mike and Jill traveled from N. GA and spent three wonderful days and nights at the Iris Meadows Inn in Waynesville, NC. The house is a piece of art in itself. The host and hostess were the best we have ever experienced in our B&B trips. The breakfast was out of this world each morning, the food was beyond belief...

By far this was the most beautiful B&B we have ever stayed in. The period furnishings are exquisite and abound throughout this perfectly decorated 'mini-Biltmore'. And Becky and George, our fabulous innkeepers, made us feel like it was ours for a time! We were able to completely relax and enjoy our time away, and when we said goodbye to Becky,...

What a wonderful place, and in every dimension. Gracious hosts, fabulous food, beautiful grounds, exquisite architecture and decor....just a fantastic experience all around. The gardens are a dream, with a lovely diversity of plant life. We enjoyed the magic of sititng in our room watching hummingbirds feed from the baskets of flowers on our balcony---life is good there.

A wonderful treat! Rooms & baths are luxuriously appointed - sumptous linens, sweet fragrances, impeccably clean. I'm redressing my bed at home after this experience. Breakfast was out of this world. The best stuffed french toast ever. And better than all of these superlatives -- the innkeepers! Warm, friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable, great conversationalists, generous -- delightful people! The Inn at Iris Meadows in Waynesville, North Carolina, is without doubt the best bed and breakfast experience my wife and I have ever had. This is our fourth visit and no other B & B compares. “Our preference is the Garden Room on the second floor. It is beautiful and we love the fireplace in the LARGE bathroom. All you have to do is open the door to the patio for two overlooking the gardens.”

“Many of the rooms have a large tub and hand-held shower. You will want to plan extra time to bathe in the tub and use the hand held shower to rinse your hair after shampooing. I did this at night which enhanced my relaxation. You may also choose one of the rooms that has a standing shower.”

“There are seven rooms to choose from.... all with their unique personality. Some face the front driveway, while others face hillsides, the town, or the gardens....ask if you have a preference. Make sure you leave time to just relax on the porch....”
