My husband wanted to fish, I wanted the beach. The Jolly Roger delivered exactly what we needed. Great location, we never needed to move the car once we unpacked. Whatever we needed was within walking distance. Our room was clean and exceeded my expectations (based on previous reviews). If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, true get-away from it... More

Wonerderful!!! Rooms are modest but clean, spacious and well maintained. Housekeeping went above and beyond for my large family of 9. Gorgeous views and atmosphere and the hotel, cafe and store staff are fanominal. Their knowledge of the history of the area and what's available made our trip all the better. Returning in July with my brood ...can't wait.

$199 a night. They made up the beds but didn't change the sheets. And a lot of other stuff. Great view of the beach. Poorly managed. You had to go all the way to the pier shop to get ice and the guy getting it brought in a dirty bucket from outside and didn't wash his hands. Normally no big... More

My mother and I stayed here for a week. The room was nice with living room kitchen combined and then a separate bedroom. Beds were nice. Clean room. The fold out couch in the living room, however, had broken springs. We laughed about it but really we ended up sitting on kitchen chairs to watch tv. Updates are needed maybe.... More

The location was good, oceanfront. Walking distance to Baybreeze Restaurant, one of my favorites. Room was excess of $250 for one night, but it was an impromptu one day trip on Memorial Weekend. Room was very sparse and I cannot disagree with previous reviews regarding that. There was a bowl of partially eaten ice cream in our freezer, that was... More

I absolutely loved staying there! The room my mother and I had was amazing. Great view of the beach! Not to mention the food from the grill was awesome! We got to eat on the pier and look out at the ocean, I would definitely stay there again.. Great job guys!

Very, very disappointing stay at Jolly Roger Inn, adjacent to the fishing pier of the same name. Continuing my sojourn down the North Carolina coast, was expecting at least the normal basics from this property; especially at the price point quoted. Granted, it was a beach front property and had immediate access to the pier, but that was about the... More

I had a great time at the beach, and apartment at jolly roger inn and pier . It was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and all smiles. We fished on the pier all day and caught a lot of black bass.

This place is awesome. Clean, quiet and the staff is second to none. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. The ocean front rooms have a great view of the pier. Fishing on the pier is very nice, you never know what you will reel in. Will definitely keep going back. Terry from Tennessee

We stopped at the grill on the pier to get some breakfast. It was good and affordable. The service was quick as well. My husband had country ham, eggs, home fries, and toast with coffee. I had bacon, eggs, home fries, and toast with tea, for less than 17 dollars. We would definitely eat here again.
