What is Certificate of Excellence?
TripAdvisor gives a Certificate of Excellence to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers.
Nice but outdated and has moldy smell in the rooms and restaurant areas. Very dark and a bit depressing. Food was excellent but PRICEY. Looked to be about 4 oz. of wine for $9. Mid Pines is nicer BUT no restaurants - toss up.
The rooms are super cute and decorated nice and cottage like, but there is an old smell in the buildings. I guess it goes along with the experience!

I did not make the reservations but the package was around $285 per day which included lodging plus 1 round, and breakfast and dinner. Regular green fees are $145.
