Exceptional! Don't often stay at B&Bs due to poor experience 10 years ago--BUT The sisters were delightful and passionately proud of their amazing renovations to the 130 year old home. The rooms were comfortable and spacious--perfect! Wish we had planned our trip to stay longer! Barbara and Suzanne offered great and knowledgeable suggestions for dinner and exploring the area. Enjoyed...

The cutest B&B with the nicest of owners. Barbara and Suzanne were a plethora of information and guidance on the 'what to do' and 'where to eat'. The food was wonderful and the beds were a dream. We will be back.

What a charming B&B, with the nicest sister proprietors! They were so cute and interesting, we thought we'd stepped into a movie set! Our room was huge, and every detail had been thought of. We were presented with a very nice cheese and cracker (and fruit) platter in the early evening, and since the owners knew that we were celebrating...

So glad we did!!! The sisters are the sweetest people you will ever meet and so accommodating. I haven't felt this relaxed in...

We have been stopping at this B&B on our way to the beach since it opened. Barbara & Suzanne Murphy are two of the nicest ladies you would ever want to meet. They make you feel right at home in their beautiful B&B. They are also very knowledgeable about the surrounding potteries and attractions. The breakfasts they serve are delicious....

We have been to the Duck Smith Inn 3 times in a year and the Murphy sisters make us feel like we are long lost family...every time. Pottery or Zoo fanatic? It's all right there. Luxurious beds (we have stayed in 3 of the 4 available rooms) and accoutrements. The breakfasts are scrumptious and will get you through all the...

While in Seagrove, NC to see all the many potters who reside there, we needed a place to stay for the night. The reviews for The Duck Smith House were so good, I doubted that we would be able to get a room at such short notice. This gem of a B&B is run by two LI gals, Barbara and...

We wanted to Pottery Shop and also visit Star, NC where they have the glass blowing school. Do NOT miss the school. Their pieces are one of a kind and just beautiful. They have the Annual Pumpkin Patch in October where you get to wander thru their patch. Charming B&B.

Lovely restored home. Delicious breakfasts. Delightful and accommodating hosts, sisters Barbara and Suzanne. We stayed in the large main floor guestroom. Best one for us, but all rooms are lovely and comfortable. Lovely grounds surrounding the main house. Close to many potteries and the North Carolina Zoo. You will enjoy your stay at this B & B. Lots of area...
