Barbara and Suzanne are wonderful hostesses at this beautifully appointed B & B. They welcomed us like favorite family members and treated us that way. Wonderful breakfasts and very comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms. Love the history of this house. The backyard birds are a real treat. Looking forward to staying again.

My husband and I just recently experienced a most relaxed and "pampered" 53rd anniversary at Duck Smith House with Suzanne and Barbara. It was everything we expected and more. The House is tastily decorated, very, very clean, comfortable bed, and the service was superb! We were welcomed into their "home" as family. When we returned from our evening meal and...

If you have never been to a B&B beware, this experience will rate at the very TOP! Barbara and Suzanne demonstrate excellence in every detail of your stay. They go beyond what you expect, serving you a snack and even an evening special treat. The bedrooms are meticulously decorated and oh so comfortable. Their rates are very reasonable. I haven't...

I recently stayed at the Duck Smith House while visiting the great pottery town of Seagrove. After spending the day seeing different potters, I was welcomed to the Duck Smith House by Barbara and Suzanne. I have never stayed at a true bed and breakfast like this one. It is very obvious that the sisters want you to feel welcome...

If you want a comfy, lovely place to stay in quaint Seagrove-you have found the spot. Barbara and Suzanne treated us like family (in the best way!). They accommodated us by welcoming us with a last minute check-in and we were able to stay in 2 of the rooms. We spent 3 nights and every breakfast in the sunny dining...

Wonderful B &B with excellent hostesses. It was exceptionally clean and the breakfast was out of this world! They made us a cheese appetizer the afternoon we arrived to enjoy with our wine on the porch. The back yard has many bird feeders where you can observe quite a show!

We stayed at the Duck Smith House for two nights while visiting the NC Zoo (about 15 minutes away) and exploring the 100 or so pottery businesses in surrounding neighborhoods. The four-bedroom guest house is on a beautiful 3.5 acre lot with a variety of log outbuildings. Our hosts, Barbara and Suzanne, were well prepared for us when we arrived...

I have stayed at the Duck Smith House Inn three times and each time was enjoyable and beyond most any other B&B experience. What makes this place unique are Barbara and Suzanne, owners and sisters, who are so warm and friendly and accommodating. The house is beautiful and super clean with very comfortable beds. Birders will enjoy the sisters' elaborate...

My wife and I were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary, and since she loves pottery we wanted to spend a couple of days in Seagrove. I booked the Duck Smith house on line. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by Suzanne Murphy who with her sister Barbara own the B&B. Just a short chat with these sweet ladies and we...
