No reception, the manager Joy, met us in the carpark to show us to our cottage. We stayed in 'The Lodge'. A quaint one bedroom, self contained cottage. Super quiet surroundings. (Except for the possums in the roof cavity) Even though it is autumn, the average ambient temperature this weekend in York is 38deg C. So it was very welcoming...

Overnight stay in this beautiful country retreat. Lovely large room, spacious grounds and amazing breakfast. Joy made us so welcome. 10 minute walk into York so convenient for town centre, which was very quiet when we visited mid November. Did not detract from a restful break from the city.

Stayed in The Lodge - a small tin roofed villa with stain glass windows and surrounded by flowers and birds. Very peaceful. Cold in winter (-1degC one night) but wood burner makes it cosy. Also heat pumps if needed. Woken at 05.50 every morning by a humming bird tapping on the window! Not a negative comment! Bit of a walk...

We had been planning to come here for quite some time, and so had an idea that it was going to be special. However, nothing prepared us for the amazing experience we actually did have, which was so far and above merely "special", that I'm not sure I even have words! How lucky we were - lucky tourists from the...

Stayed in a self catering cottage, well equipped and clean, beds very comfortable and in a very quiet location. Were met by the owner, Joy who welcomed us and showed us around the property. No real negative comments however we felt this place was not fully dog friendly even though we had a small enclosed garden which was great but...

My husband surprised me with a one night getaway to this charming establishment in York and we both wish we could have stayed longer! We were accommodated in the "Stables" which was a delightful, quirky and romantic chalet with a spa. Joy cooked us up a delicious breakfast in the morning which was eaten in the quaint tearoom. We would...

This place is magic. Our room was spacious, comfortable and most importantly very well decorated, in in an old country style. Full of little thoughtful details for you to discover. Spotless and with a bed to die for. It can be terribly hard to get up though 💤. The gardens and all the surrounding wheat fields are ideal for a...

We have stayed at this place a number of times and the standard never changes. Surrounded by paddocks and open space. A variety of accommodation is available. We chose a private, rammed earth suite of which there are about three in a separate building beside the original federation homestead. There are also a number of completely self-contained cottages with complete...

We love it here! Accommodation is great, extremely clean and good size. Kids love the freedom to explore and being able to take our dogs is a real bonus. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back again and again.

I stayed here for a weekend getaway with our running group of six, and it was the perfect location for us to relax and recharge. Close enough to walk into the beautiful township, and the view from our verandah was perfect. Fully self-contained with amazing decor. When visiting the "first inland township in WA" this is exactly where I had...
