At $35 a night we were very much looking forward to staying here after all the research we had done, especially on the birdlife, however due to the lack of rain and the non-existent wet season last summer it was quite disappointing. The sites are a dust bowl with virtually no shade and in the heat (around 35 degs) it... More

Wonderful place to watch birds. If you can, go later in the day. This is to avoid tour bus groups and birds come to drink a bit later. Billabong is about a km long. Great, well designed shelter. Dirt road is not bad.

Stayed here for 5 days in 2013 and loved it. Great wildlife, especially birds and a good base to explore Marglu Billabong, Wyndham, 5 Rivers Lookout, The Grotto, Prison Tree and El Questro from. Great staff and a nice little swimming pool. The current problem is water and you need to take your own drinking water ( which we always... More

We stayed in one of the self contained cabins which are across the lagoon from the main complex. Our cabin had a lovely screened verandah where we sat and had a quite afternoon reading as well as a sunset drink. The airconditioned bedroom was huge with a really comfortable bed and we slept with the windows open to see the... More

hidden away off the road to Wyndham, is this wee gem...stayed in the motel room...very clean and comfortable, with shared bathroom..which was beautiful...large double shower...say no more! The cabins are accessed via a tree high walkway so brilliant for birders. Meals at the restaurant were lovely, and very welcome pool too. Thank you Anne and Terry, Sue and Ian.

Stayed here one night after doing the Gibb River Road, stayed in accommodation and it was really nice. Rooms had an enclosed balcony area so you could enjoy the sunset without the mozzies. Business is currently for sale. Will stay here again

We stayed two nights at Parry's Creek Farm. A short wt season left the area very dry and dusty but didn't take away from the experience. We were on our way north on a trip around Australia and Parrys and especially the wonderful Marglu Billabong were one of our highlights. I have never seen so many boabs in one area... More

We stayed three nights in an unpowered site. We found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the facilities clean and well maintained. Despite the fact that this season's wet season was very short, which made the wetlands are much drier than usual, the range of birdlife is amazing. We had a couple of excellent visits to the...
