The staff were friendly, the room very clean, 1/2 the bbq worked (Thermocouple on one burner didn’t work), great camp kitchen, bed was good, patio fine, quiet at night, dingo wandering about. It’s the outback...love it.
Spent a night here on a trip along the Great Central Road. Didn't eat at roadhouse so can't comment on food, but everyone very friendly, and campground amenities very clean and spacious. Recommend for an overnight stop ..
Great place to stay for where it is and what it has Manager Ross could not have been more helpful Would recommend to anyone Great camp kitchen and amenities Giles weather station closeby and tours available
We didn't stay here, but stopped for lunch on the way to Docker River. The burgers were sensational and the gallery is well worth checking out. Nice place to stop for a bit, and a picnic table out the front.
The accommodation here has gone upmarket somewhat since our last visit in 2006. The new motel rooms are quite spacious and well equipped. The camping area looked quite tidy with a large ablutions block. There also seemed to be more food offerings at the roadhouse.
"If you are looking to have dinner provided ring ahead and book the day before so that they can get things ready. Also the roadhouse runs on Central Time not WA time so take that into consideration on your arrival time especially if travelling east as there is a 1.5 hour difference"
