Beautifully cooked steaks and wonderful chips. We happened to come in on a Wednesday night when there is a 2 main meals for the price of 1 deal but even at full price, the steaks are worth every cent! If you like stout, there is a limited edition vanilla and oatmeal stout that is good enough to have on its... More

Friendly staff and always willing to accommodate. We got a fun, interesting and very informative ghost tour here. It seems like this place doesn't get busy till after 11pm. The outside appearance doesn't look to flashy but honestly the friendly staff is what makes this a gem...besides the interesting "guests" they have.

A Hotel I will happily stay at again. We were not expecting much, but we did get great friendly service and a well presented clean room. The hotel must be over 100 years old, but looked like it was recently upgraded as it was all good. The prices of the room were quite cheap, so we were very happy with... More

Seriously don't bother!! The owner is rude, the decor is shocking, and don't get me started on the calibre of the local clientelle. We stayed in September during a busy period in the region and she couldn't have been more indifferent - the hot water ran out in the antiquated bathroom and she said 'what do you expect? We're at... The Rooms at the Hotel were very clean. Considering the Hotel is 150 years old, the rooms and layout are pretty good. The room I stayed in was a Room with a Queen size bed. The room was comfortable and I didn't hear any other noise from the downstairs of the hotel. The amenities are the shared type, but this... More

Booked two nights and stayed one, not even bothering to argue about getting a refund. You will be greeted in your room by a fridge that doesnt close, earplugs with your towl and soap, bugs in your bed and an airconditioner so close to your head it will keep you up all night. That is, if the DJ playing until... More
