The service and accommodation was excellent with a lovely array of fresh produce for our stay. We had 3 days at Cupids to celebrate our birthdays and 40th wedding anniversary. Certainly a place we will come back to. Thanks to staff (Rachael) for checking on us and to make sure we were comfortable or needed anything. Perhaps consideration could be...

Stonewell cottages are so relaxing, quiet, secure and well positioned over the lake with plenty of ducks and birds to feed and keep you company. We celebrated my birthday and a surprise engagement in February 2017 and our stay here added to the happiness and enjoyment of the events and will forever be the most memorable place we've stayed at...

The entire experience at Stonewell cottages was wonderful and completely relaxing. It is only 5 mins from the heart of Tanunda in the heart of the Barossa, but located alongside a dam on a working vineyard. The accommodation had everything we needed, from a comfy bed and warm shower, to TV and Wifi. The spa was huge and allowed a...

This family run cottage thought of every detail to insure our stay was comfortable. The fridge was filled with fresh farm eggs, bacon, milk, juice, local cheese, cereals, fruit, and of course a lovely bottle of wine. We were fortunate to be here during great harvesting and invited to ride on top of the picking truck during sunset. A highlight...

I have just had two days at Haven Retreat no 2 and it cannot fault it at all. Some difficulty perhaps in rowing the boat and I would have liked a jug of cold water in the frideg. But if thats all I can find to comment on, you will know that this was a splendid experience. Everything that you...

We stayed in the Cupid' Cottage for three nights and felt totally relaxed and revitalised after the stay. Cottage is self contained with an ample selection of breakfast provisions provided. Choose the additional gourmet platter with a beautiful selection of local produce, great with a glass or two of the local wines available at the cottage (additional cost) whist relaxing...

The cottages are located around a dam amongst the vineyards. They are beautiful stone built buildings each with its own unique character and layout The cottages are well equipped as self contained and even has Nespresso coffee machines. They are comfy enough for a multi day stay - we spent five days. You are supplied with key ingredients for breakfast...

We were disappointed with our stay at Stonewell in Cupids Cottage, though our opinion seems to be in the minority by reading their guest book. The setting is beautiful and peaceful but at the rates they charge there need to be some improvements. The breakfast provisioning is excellent and the kitchen is fitted out very well. The view and the...
