We spent a weekend here. I wish it had been longer I liked it so much. It is a simple four roomed miner's cottage. Sitting room with an open fire as well as reverse cycle aircon, simple kitchen and two double bedrooms. The bathroom was a separate structure just outside the back door but don't let that put you off...

Stunning cottages and gardens. Everything is thought of, lots of lovely extras including handmade soap, dressing gowns and hand knitted throw blankets. Wish we could have stayed and enjoyed the garden, would be especially gorgeous in Spring. Slightly out of main centre of town. Easy walk to town.

If you enjoy experiencing stepping back in time, then this is for you. Everything you could need was provided for including breakfast, cosy fire with firewood and a heated bathroom floor. As it was cold whilst we were there we didn't get to use the back garden however I should image that it would be lovely in spring. Look forward...

on a trip to Burra we booked and stayed at Burra Heritage Cottages Tivers Row. What a find. Adorable 4 room cottage with breakfast provided, fresh flowers and fresh fruit. The cottage was kitted out in period knick knacks and furniture. Beautiful backyard to eat breakfast in. The bathroom is out the back door on the verandah and is modern....

the old style cottage was a real step back in time. every modern convenience inside to make our stay enjoyable. the bed was very comfortable, and the luxury of having a comfortable sofa to relax on after a busy day in Burra was very much appreciated. We would love to return , and would recommend the cottages to anyone.

Tiver's Row cottages are a gem and we agree with all the comments of other reviews. Our 2 nights were great and it was a special way to use the SA Shorts voucher gift for my husband's birthday and Mother's Day. We especially enjoyed the delicious provisions, clean accommodation and the comfortable beds. We bought a pizza from the restaurant...

Wow........what a find, like what I imagine my great grandparents home must have looked like. Quaint bijoux cottage, ( an old miners cottage) clean, well maintained with an "outside netty" (if your from the north of England) or dunny if your an Aussie! The breakfast of assorted cereals, fruit juice, bacon, eggs, tomatoe, beans and bread was left for us...

What a joy to stay in one of these wonderful cottages! I feel privileged and excited to have the chance for my husband and myself to enjoy the comforts of such a hidden gem of the past. After a long three day drive from Kalgoorlie-Boulder in WA heading for Wollongong in the East, we actually just made the Tourist Bureau...

We booked direct by e-mail for $165 per night for a couple. This is not cheap accommodation but is was a really memorable experience and I loved it. The little two bedroom miner’s cottage and its back yard was adorable. It was fitted out in period knick-knacks and vintage furniture. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom just out the...

It's cold and blustery outside...teeming rain and gale winds....but inside, by the fire, it is cosy and warm. The cottage are gorgeous. I stayed here a number of years ago with a group when all the cottages were available to stay in. Things haven't changed but for the number available for accommodation. Our one was a delight. We pulled up...

“Always triple check the reviews from past travellers ,this will help you decide where to choose your stay. Word of mouth is essential and the owners of these stays have to be on their toes to make sure everything is provided that they claim on their advertising . And in this case, our stay has bern the best one of our drive so far!”
