We visited the National Trust house and found the house and the history very interesting. There was a lot of history about the Angus family. I think it would be nice to stay as well. Some of the rooms can be used by guests and dinners can be hosted for groups of 10 or more.

We stayed here for two nights. It is a charming period B&B. Our rooms were very nice, though like many older places reflecting the 19th century were not "luxurious." The same can be said for the Awahanee Hotel in Yosemite--older rooms, not so luxurious. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms very clean and nice. Marcia and Andrew are...

We stayed here on a Saturday night after the Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend. We actually only booked it as we were late booking and everywhere closer was already booked! It was expensive, (a bit overpriced I think!) but it was a beautiful property. The room and bathroom was clean and nice, it was a cold night but the heating was...

Staying one night in Barossa we chose this homestead. I was not expecting so much history so it was a real surprise. I really wish we could have stayed longer to really soak in all the property offers. If you aren't into history you may feel it's overpriced but for antique and history buffs you will enjoy. Marcia couldn't have...

My girlfriend found that perfect country getaway with open fire and hot tub included ... On arrival we were warmly greeted by Marcia & Andrew and they continued to offer us advice on where was good to go and things to do whenever we asked for advice. Marcia was even kind enough to text us while we were out exploring...

A quite astonishing experience. Given to the National Trust and looked after by them, this original wealthy man’s homestead is operated as a limited room boutique B&B and provides an unusual experience. I would expect it to be quite rare that visitors could actually stay in 150 year old heritage rooms with mod cons and have a good hot breakfast...

My partner and I stayed for two nights. We absolutely loved Collingrove Homestead. Marcia and Andrew were very helpful and accommodating, and the breakfast was superb. The history in the homestead is a sight in itself. So close to all of the major wineries; we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Thank you to Marcia for being so...

We visited on a wet weekend in April. The property is very "National Trust" and unfortunately a little run down. The rooms we booked with our friends were the "maids quarters". These rooms share an outside bathroom so it would have been a little difficult if we didn't know the other couple! The rooms were comfortable enough but one the...

Collingrove exceeded our expectations, the accommodation was lovely and spotless, the main homestead stunning and filled with beautiful antiques and history and the breakfast and hospitality was great. Thoroughly recommended this property for any traveller.

My partner and I stayed here for one night in January. One night was not enough! After doing a lot B&B research I choose to book Collingrove based on the excellent reviews. And I'm so glad I did! The majestic homestead has been transformed into a B&B - we stayed in the 'workshop', one of the larger rooms. With its...
