I was very impressed. We arrived a few hours before our check in time and they let us into the room early. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. Going into the room the smell of bleach etc as soon as you opened the door was not strong but you could tell the room had just been cleaned. The beds...

Dined tonight wirh 2 dozen family and friends-never again! The kids play area so noisy we had difficulty communicating. I ordered the Dukka Crusted Lamb, such a small portion i thought it must have been an entree! The final straw was being asked for $20-80 for a red wine and a beer-it would have cost less getting mugged in their...

We booked this hotel because of it's convenient location as we were only there for a night. friends of ours had stayed before and said it was good. Two rooms were booked for the group and both were very unclean with rust stains in the bath, clogged shower drains because of the grey muck around the drain, hair in the...

I made a request a week earlier for an early check in, they never replied so I called the day before and they were so rude to me and before I could finish what I was saying I got hung up on! When we got there at 12pm, we were told that we couldn't check in until 2, but we...

I recently dined at the Hinterland Hotel with a larger family group. The reason we chose the hotel was because it is centrally located between Tweed Heads and Brisbane, as our family are spread between the two locations. I ordered the Moroccan Chicken (from the lunch menu) and the chicken was dry. My husband had the seafood plate and he...

We went here for dinner after arriving from a long drive from Townsville in one day. I've been here many times having lived locally a few years ago and was disappointed. After buying a jug of coke to quench our thirst and finding it tasteless, we took it back to let them know, giving us another one which was 'better',...

Didnt suprise me to find out this is an ALH (Woolworths) motel. Delapidated decor, and riverview balconies absolutely filthy, deck chairs were so mouldy you could not sit in them. Stairways unswept and dirty, car park full of debris. This property has the makings of a great motel if kept clean and given some loving management and maintenance. The check...

My son booked an overnight stay here due to the location, the best I can say is the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean but tired, I guess it was reasonable value for $120, and maybe I shouldn't expect more for that rate. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't advise what the food was...
