Myself and a work colleague stayed for 2 nights at the Esk Wivenhoe motor inn recently . The motel has a homely type feel to it and the owners were very accomodating to our requests . The rooms decor, is a little bit different than what I'm used to ,but very cosy and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant...

Surprisingly cozy and comfortable for a standard brick and bessa-block motor inn. The owners have managed to inject so much old world charm and coziness into the rooms without sacrificing space and functionality and whilst still providing all the modern conveniences that travellers expect. They even offer in - room dining! The bathrooms are modern and new and the 4...

Follows the classic car-outside-each-room Motor Inn format, but that's where the similarity ends. Open your unit's front door and more like a B&B personalised bedroom with ensuite - lovely decor and (our room) a great 4-poster bed! Tasteful decorations and nice touches abound, and free movies (DVD) available - little touches that made it a cut above, and a really...

We stayed overnight and found all we needed in a bright and comfortable unit. Everything was clean and fresh and seemed to have been redecorated recently in a quirky fashion. The motel is conveniently situated. Definitely a place to recommend to others and to return to. Parking is on site but spacing is neat for larger vehicles. No meals were...

Updated rooms are nice. Breakfast was ample. Free Wi-Fi was good. New owner/managers much friendlier than the ones from my previous stay about 18 months ago. Parking inside may be an issue for people with larger vehicles. Quiet rooms.

Our family of four stayed in a family room for an overnight stay for a recent family gathering in Esk. At the far end of the building, the room was very nicely decorated, comfortable, clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable with fresh, crisp linen, the bathroom clean and amply stocked with body lotions, hand-wash, shampoo and conditioner. There was an...

Reasonably priced rooms, new owner/managers live onsite and are very friendly. Check out the dining room, with club-style area and space invaders for the kids! Rooms are clean and tidy and mattresses comfortable.
