The Seahorse is a carefully restored historic building on the edge of Twofold Bay. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant offers a good menu. Staff are friendly (though perhaps a little too informal and a bit hard to find at times). The grounds are spacious and welcoming.... More

This place is best described as "Faulty Towers" - The staff here including the Manager, would be better suited to a Fish and Chip Shop. Ask for the menu and get some laminated sheets on local history and accompanying lecture - Wait at the bar for staff so you can order a cold drink. When staff eventually show up I... More

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. We had a long drive to get to it (on recommendation) and it was worth passing all the motels to get to - lovely rooms and nice food and very good value considering the great location.

We enjoyed the Seahorse Inn so much we came back for another couple of nights - would have made it three but it was booked out for a wedding. This time we had a garden view loft, Room 3, which is very private with its own staircase and no rooms either side but, unlike the ground floor room we stayed... More

This is a delightful property rebuilt from the original building by John Boyd over 150 years ago, when he had a vision to build a town here. Parts of the hotel are swish and attractive, but our room (we stayed one night) was small and for some reason all the doors needed adjustment. So much so that you could not... More

The Seahorse Inn has the air of somewhere that has been neglected for a while and could do with being taken in hand and sorted out or updated. The location is stunning, right by the beach and an ocean facing room has a lovely outlook. The building is also interesting being relatively old and quirky. However, the somewhat grubby random... A very nice building in great location outside of Eden. Hotel is right on the water. The place feels a bit tired and while staff were courteous one is left with the sense that it could be better. Restaurant was ok - not many options close by. Rooms a smallish but comfortable if furniture needs updating.

Had lunch and dinner here and both meals were fantastic. Gorgeous setting and spent afternoon on beach both times. Food was fresh and delicious, amazing views and friendly service. Better option than places like 'Wheelers' which was overpriced and inferior quality food in comparison. You will not be disappointed with this one.

A lovely hotel that is situated on one of the loveliest beaches you could find. Rooms are well furnished but could do with an update (2 of the same prints in the same room?). Food is OK in the bistro ( being next to Eden, the seafood should be incomparable but unfortunately just ok- incidentally as was the fish and... More
