Everything you need for a short or long stay in Trapani, value for money was excellent. Staff were incedibly nice and helpful, made a real effort with their english, far better than my effort at Italian, and did better than they probably realise!
We stayed here by chance due to a cancelled ferry. As we got a last minute and low budget room we were delighted to find a hotel a couple of minutes walk away from our Liberty Lines ferry. We were warmly welcomed with a soft drink and shown to our room. A feature in the lobby is what looks like a Roman water mains pipe glassed in under the ground floor. Layers of history...As last minute guests I think we may have got the smallest room in the hotel but it was fine for our needs with a decent shower and tea/coffee making facilities. We had low expectations of Trapani itself but how wrong we were - we enjoyed a very pleasant evening sampling local wines and cheeses, talking to the dogs in the street and watching the very fashionable world go by. Breakfast was included in the modest (off season) price and we were pleasantly surprised it was very good. A good find, not a holiday hotel but perfect for anyone who needs a pleasant bed night before catching a ferry to one of the islands...…
This hotel was the worst during our 2 weeks around Sicily. The 2 stars I gave it were only for location and the receptionist Gian Paolo and Giacoma (breakfast). We booked through Booking a small room with a terrace (41). We knew that the room would be small and did not care about it. However, the size of the room was not the problem. The ac did not work properly. The room is on the top floor which makes it unbearable hot. The safety box did not work. We advised about this problem but it was not fixed. The few furniture in the room were old, wore and broken. This room was a total rip off for the price. The breakfast was very frugal. The few slices of cheese presented were so thin that were almost transparent. Trapani is beautiful, sadly, the stay at this horrible room made us want to leave as soon as possible.…
I had an overall good experience at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was adequate and the hotel was located in walking distance to the center of the old town and its many services. My only issue was that I stayed for three nights in a single room with a twin bed. The bed was not the problem it was just a very compact space with not a lot of room to spread my things out or to relax. There was actually another issue with the room. It had a door that connected to another room and you could hear every sound in the other room when it was occupied. I needed to use my ear plugs. I would stay in this hotel again and would take a single room again but not for more than one night. If I were staying longer I would spend the extra money for a larger room.…
Stayed for 3 days in this modern and comfy hotel. It is easier to find than some suggest on this site. Close to where the coaches from Palermo and Palermo drop you in the port area. The female receptionist was very helpful and checked us in quickly and gave us some good recommendations. All the staff were good. The lift was slow, but when you are chilling out who cares. Rooms were modern and well equipped, safe, mini-bar etc. The bed was very comfy. I would have given it 5 but breakfast was rather limited, though the coffee was excellent. Worth 4.5 stars
