We stayed here for 2 nights and it was an excellent hotel. The room was spacious and spotless. There was everything you could want to do self catering if you wished. The bedroom was warm and it was very quiet, in fact no noise despite hotel being busy. Breakfast was good with a good variety of cold and hot food....

A really nice and well located hotel in Bad Schandau. After arriving at the station the ferry ride to the town site takes approx 5 mins and cost €1.50. The hotel is a short walk from the main square -near the national park centre and close to a supermarket. The hotel is well maintained with helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast...

We spent 6 nights in this hotel as part of our trip to Saxon Switzerland. It is a great location for walking in this area with plenty of nearby paths. It is also very well located to catch buses and boats to other walking areas. One drawback is that the railway station is on the far side of the river...

A mix of hotel rooms and apartments. Very clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. The kitchenettes include a fridge and small dishwasher but only 2 rings and no microwave. Most of the building is very disabled/wheelchair friendly. The river Elbe flooded the basement garage in June 2013 and the restaurant was open only for breakfast as a result. Apart...

We had a modern apartment with bathroom, bedroom and living/eating space all superb. Instead of a balcony we had a table and chairs set outside on a walkway which led to steps down to the ground. It was covered so provided shelter from the only thunderstorm we suffered. It was a lovely place to sit and have a drink. Surprisingly...

We stopped overnight at the Apparthotel Am Schlossberg to break the journey between Prague and Dresden, travelling between Decin and Dresden by boat. It was a largely blind choice - since (as you will have discovered if you get to here), there is relatively little detailed information on accommodation in Sächsichsischen Schweiz. The blind choice proved to be an excellent...
