Good location, Hotel does seem to have some challenges in maintenance, as well in service. Breakfast Buffet is so so, often you need to draw attention to the wait staff for replenishment, things run out. Food in restaurant is ok. Rooms are general nice, some beds are in age and every turn at sleep gives an ecstatic noise, so you...

We (8 of us) are currently staying at the Hotel Quellenhof and loving it! Our family was just in Paris and this has literally been been a breathe of fresh air. The town of Garmisch here is quaint yet still lively, the skiing is world class and the mountain views are spectacular. And the air is so fresh! The hotel...

Arrived late due to traffic, however, the staff left my key in an envelope at the front desk area whaich had already closed. Room was fairly comfortable. My son slept in the loft room and had no complaints. Our booking included breakfast which was fairly extensive. The restaurant next door served great food late into the evening.

Don't... Simply don't... I had a dreadful experience at this hotel. I arrived at about 6pm on a Sunday evening with my booking email. The receptionist was less than helpful and curtly told me that the hotel was full and the email was definitely not a booking. (This despite the fact that it stated so in both English & German)....

We stayed at the Hotel Quellenhoff with an RCI timeshare trade. The room was nice, but the bedroom loft was a little scary. Middle of the night visits to the bathroom were tricky, because of the steep staircase to the loft. So, if you are not sure of going up and down a staircase, request a single level room, if...

Stayed for a week in one of the timeshare rooms. Ours had a living room with table (eckbank) and chairs and one lounge chair. Not comfortable for long periods. Small TV, no English stations. The bedroom was a loft with narrow stairs, had to be careful coming down, especially with suitcases. Bed was not too comfortable. There was a small...

One of the main points of staying in a hotel is to get a reasonable night's sleep. I did not get one good night's sleep - mainly down to the really uncomfortable beds. Thin wooden slats, covered by a mattress no more than three inches thick, do not make a comfortable bed - nowhere for shoulders and hips to go...

We stayed here in one of the Timeshare rooms, room 205. The room overlooked the Biergarten and had a pleasant balcony. We weren't disturbed by noise from the garden (the weather kept people out of it most of the time!). Our room had a small kitchen area but only had a sink and a useful fridge. It had a seating...

Stayed here 3 years ago and really liked the hotel saying we would return when next staying in the area. However, we were a bit disappointed. Hotel looking a bit tired now. Eg curtain missing, balcony floor covering torn. Pool is good but really a bit too cold. Breakfast was good. Nice garden area but needs a bit of attention....
