A huge hotel in a quiet resort area, with however limited facilities. The room is also huge (about 700 sq feet) and modernly equipped too. The mattress is hard. That suits me well. But room WiFi is terrifying slow, almost useless. And overall the room looks empty and “cold”, not the sort of atmosphere you expect from a resort hotel for family fun. The breakfast is buffet style but choice is limited.

The place is very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. Nice and scenic views away from the crowd. They have a dim sum restaurant in a separate building. The dim sum is very good. Overall a very good experience.

With my family of five, we stayed at one of the resort’s double story villas for one night. I had to say, I was overwhelmed by the size as it resembled a full sized family home with its clean and modern exterior design. The interior was as equally impressive in size however it was a little dated and the walls looked as if it could do with a new coat of paint instead of the yellowish wallpaper. The villa included four bedrooms, three with king/Queen bed on the second level and one with two single beds downstairs. All bedrooms had its own ensuite with both bath and shower. One of the upstairs bedroom has a connected balcony with deck furniture, there was another balcony on the top level. The downstairs had a full living room which would be perfect for entertainment but we did not use it much. The star of the villa was a full karaoke room completed with a huge flat screen tv, decent selection of Asian and western songs, huge sofas, and disco lights. Only downside was that they provide you with two microphones which meant you have to pass it around it you travel with a large family. The breakfast buffet was mediocre, it featured that conveyor belt style toaster that leaves your bread warm but not toasted unless you let it go through the toaster several times and annoy other waiting customers. The fruit selection may be seasonal as I only saw watermelon and rockmelon as well as a few slices of star fruit. There was baked beans, bacon, cereal and other western breakfast foods. Asian selection included fried and boiled noodles, egg tarts, vegetables, and buns. The drinks included one type of coffee with milk added already, milk, tea, and milk tea. Would’ve liked to see juice but it was not offered. Did not use the pool as it looked green, there was also a yum cha place for lunch, and I couldn’t find the hot springs and ran out of time.…

For its price, I'd say its a steal. The rooms where big. There's a dated feel into the ambiance of the hotel and rooms but don't be fooled the technology is Modern. Cons: food is not so good. Not much English speaking staff.

Went to the Long Chan Resort with colleagues for a one night stay. Was taken aback by the size of the hotel rooms, up there with the biggest that we have stayed in. We felt a tinge of regret that we could only stay for one night. There was a good choice at the breakfast buffet, both Chinese and Western. The hot springs were a let down for me. Having been to a hot spring resort in Qingyuan before I had expectations that the Long Chan Resort would surpass that experience given the grandiose hotel building and mountainside surroundings. Every hot spring seemed to be the same, the selection was not great. Needs more variety to the essences for it to be a truly enjoyable experience.

I enjoyed my one night stay at this resort, but wouldn't visit again if I were alone. I visited with a group of coworkers, Chinese and foreign and we were all impressed with the modern style of the rooms and decent wifi. The beds and linens were very comfortable, especially for a Chinese hotel. The lobby/reception area is very dated as are various parts of the hotel. The hot springs were just okay, the different pool options weren't too exciting and there were only about 25. They are a bit of a walk from the hotel, but there is an occasional bus that will take you to them. I think the experience would be much better/exciting in the warmer months where the beach and larger pool could be utilized.

Stayed at this hotel while on a business trip. The hotel is very spacious and clean as it is a new hotel. The bathroom and the bath tub design is very modern and apparently the same design for hotels around this part of china. There is wifi in room but it block out surfing international websites so you cannot really do anything except chat services. The huge pool looks like a major pond and colour of the pool is dark green in colour. It does not look very tempting to use the pool. The location is pretty far from the city as its outskirt, on a plot of land surrounded by mountains. Overally is a good hotel and will return again.
