Beyond the dining room is a lovely pool area surrounded by a well maintained garden of local plants, a path leading down to separate villas with some rooms, attached. Each room had an ensuite, with heating by either open fire, oil heaters or AC and this was needed in mid March. The bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom had...

This is a lovely little hotel in a quiet village in the High Atlas. The rooms are all like little Berber houses, with all mod cons, AC for summer, heaters for winter and hot water at all times in the en-suite bathrooms. Yes you are up in the mountains and the tadelak may not look like ceramics but there you...

Our guide took us here for lunch after a 2 hour walk. It's a lovely location - good food and service. Good quality three course set lunch for 140 Dirhams; tabouleh, couscous and tarte tatin. My partner had Moroccan salad, mixed grill and chocolate crepe.

Chez Momo has seen better days. The setting is beautiful and our room was quaint in a positive way though it could use a bit more attention to cleanliness. Service however was very poor and most of the time the person who appears to be the manager was busy entertaining friends whose noisy children overtook the public spaces including the...

We only stayed one night here en route from Taroudant to Marrakech. The setting is beautiful and the pool looked lovely albeit it was too chilly to swim. The room, which had potential, looked as if it had seen better days. The bathroom in particular was not very clean and the plug hole to the shower was badly blocked. The...

It was by far the most beautiful and peaceful place I have stayed ,open windows with visits from wild life ,staff very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was the food but when you are in the back of beyond you can't expect toomuch although the bread wasn't the lovely Moroccan type we had been used to .will certainly return.

We spent a wonderfully relaxing and interesting week, from 15 to 22 March staying in this charming hotel. It was peaceful, has great views, attentive service, and everywhere you look there is something attractive which catches the eye. Our room was delightful and prettily decorated, there were plenty of comfortable attractive communal areas inside and out to relax in and...

An excellent base for a trek into the high atlas with overnight stay in a Berber village. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, lovely pool, great location, good food. A very relaxing and peaceful setting. We have stayed here on two of our visits to Morocco. Good stop off between Marrakech and Taroudant.

We stayed in Chez Momo II for four nights in December to do some walking in the hills. We were very well looked after by Mustafa the manager and Omar the waiter, and Momo came in every evening and seemed to keep a close eye on the place, always a good sign. It appears to be his eye that has...
