We stayed here for 3 nights with 2 RV s and 11 people. Great sight right on the ocean . Lovely pool. The beach stretched on and on. Added bonus of 2 Humpback whale's. Staff very helpful. Also has cabins and statics.

We stayed in our 35' travel trailer about 3 rows back from the beach access. The campground is very nice. It wasn't overcrowded. Bathhouse was nice and clean. Pools were open in April. Cold, but that didn't stop the kids from getting in. The hot...More

Hi. How are the mosquitos? We will be arriving this weekend and wondered whether we are going to get bitten loads! Obviously we have repellent and a screened tent but just wondered how bad it will be. Thanks

I've never been before and was just wondering if anyone could recommend their favorite campsites at Cape Hatteras KOA? Decent-sized space (set back and with some trees if possible) and somewhat close to bathroom, Also, could you post pictures if available? Thanks!

No trees but there is usually a breeze. Most sites are spacious but those with a shelter are more spacious and they cost more but are worth it. Look at their map when you make a reservation.
