This was one of the worst stays at a hotel that I have ever had. The check-in was nice, and the person checking us in was friendly. However, that is where the positives stop. It had been in the 90’s all day, and when we entered the room the AC was off. We turned it on, and it wasn’t very cool, but we wanted to get some dinner. When we returned, it was still hot. All night we suffered in a hot room. We called the front desk to ask for a different room, but the hotel was completely full so they could not move us. We did not sleep all as we sweated though our Clothes. This was a 179 dollar room. The next morning the lady at the front desk said that she could not give a discount on the room, but the manager would later. Well that did not happen until I called the corporate…
They're the only game in town, and they know it. For the price, this hotel was a big disappointment. Please either put your high rates back into improvements, or lower the rates. The room didn't look like it had been thoroughly cleaned, including carpet that didn't seem to have been vacuumed before our stay (or the stay before ours). Silverfish came out of the faucet when I turned the shower on and the water pressure was non-existent, not to mention cracks in the bottom of the tub. The sheets were pilling. The desk clerks were friendly, when they weren't on the phone. They explained that they were on the phone with their "boss," but I'm sure their boss would rather them excuse themselves to help customers, instead of waiting for 5 or more minutes for them to wrap up their…
Great stop on way home from blueridge mountains....stopped after stating at tapoco inn (which was awesome) and very clean rooms, great simple check in and very nice updated rooms, close to many areas to eat and play...close to freeway and the room rates are in line with what you expect for a fair priced newer stay
We had a great experience at this hotel! We stayed once before when we were here on vacation riding our motorcycles with friends. The staff is fantastic - very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the hotel was well-maintained. Breakfast each morning was great - full breakfast with eggs, bacon, waffles, etc., and they kept it restocked well throughout the morning. It was inexpensive to stay here, so it's a great value. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stay here again!
Stayed here many time when it was a Microtel, was excellent. Now owned by Quality Inn and I will never be back. Unclean rooms and bed bugs. Two minutes after jumping into bed, they where. Caught one, took it to the front desk ang got another room, when we opened some of the drawer there was garbage in them. Was going to stay 2 nights but left at sunrise the next morning and found another place to stay.
