Kate is the innkeeper while her mother Bonita, and her Dad Rick assist. The service and the breakfasts were very good and Bonita even made my Grandson "special" eggs just for him. Can't say enough about that part.
From my arrival to my departure, I felt as if I were at home. I met 6 sets of guests and 5 of those parties were repeat customers. One of the regular couples even helped Kate install a sign. It reminded me so of days gone by when neighbors were eager to love on and help one another.
I was really sad to leave Oriental where my children and I made special memories and I was equally sad to leave the Inn, Kate, Bonita, and Brody the very special and sweet Shiba Inu that my Grandson fell in love with. I wanted to pack Bonita up and whisk her back with me so we could finish our conversations!!
I wish you all a very successful season and I hope all of your guests leave as well-rested and content as I did.

Their passion and dedication have infused the property with a renewed energy that's truly palpable and a charm that makes you want to stay longer. Each room is a sanctuary of comfort, with considerate touches & additions that make guests feel right at home. Beyond the amenities and comforts, what sets the Inn at Oriental apart is the genuine care and attention of the owners. Kate goes above and beyond to ensure that each guest’s stay is truly relaxing & uniquely enjoyable.
The love & effort they’ve poured into this place is evident in the level of attention to detail, the way they’ve honored the Inn’s history in the decor & the genuine warmth of the hospitality. Add in the tranquil surroundings & no doubt choosing the Inn at Oriental is choosing nothing less than a phenomenal experience.
Whether you need to stay one night on your way, need a cozy spot to unwind and recharge, or are looking for the perfect place to create memories with the family or your honey, look no further than the Inn at Oriental. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

It was a wonderful experience -- we had privacy, as each room has a private bath but we also had company when we wanted to socialize. Breakfast was made all the more enjoyable by the attentiveness of our hosts(Bruce & Frankie who were filling in for the owners Lou and Lucy).
Our room, The Charleston, was on the ground floor, which my husband who has a bad back appreciated. It was very clean (I am a stickler for about this) and had all the comforts of home (albeit someone else's 😉).
Oriental was a charming town, made all the more so by The Inn at Oriental.
Breakfast is nice, but if you stay more than a few days you might get bored with the menu as you have the same choices every morning.
In their reviews, several people mentioned a happy hour with wine. Lucy told us that she discontinued it due to covid and has not reinstated it as of July 2022.
