The hotel itself is very nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However, we were disappointed by a few things. There was no toilet tissue in our room. That alone was easily remedied. Even in these Covid 19 times, the breakfast offering was very poor. There were a few cereal bars and a few frozen egg muffin sandwiches. However, the coffee was fresh. Coffee was only available from 6am to 9am - no coffee, tea or water available in the lobby throughout the day as in most hotels. The staff was not friendly - indifferent might be a better description.

We stay at the Comfort Inn every year during the weekend of the Bike MS charity ride and have always been satisfied with our accomodations.
This year's stay was fine again in most respects. The location is great for our purposes and the staff, as always, was friendly and helpful. But there was at least one thing that disappointed us -- the condition of our room (Room 303).
The bed squeaked loudly everytime one of us got up or laid down on it. It also had a sort of sinkhole in the middle of the mattress. The refrigerator wasn't working well enough to keep anything cold and it leaked onto the carpet. And the grout around the bathtub was either moldy or dirty.
If renovations aren't done between now and September 2022, sadly, we're going to be forced to find somewhere else to stay for next year's MS ride.

Wonderful staff, check in was quick. Breakfast and especially happy hour were fantastic. Everyone really enjoyed their happy hour with Bud, Bud Lite, Mc Ultra, red & white wine and lots of snacks for all. The beds have mattress toppers making them comfortable so you do not feel the mattress springs but not too soft. Soft sheets but the comforter was too hot and nothing else to use except some sheet like covers. The city is making repairs to the water lines drastically impacting their hotels water pressure. Our shower did not have much for ump. If this issue is addressed we would definitely pack a blanket from home and stay there again.

I stayed in the Comfort Suites at 1006 Old Cherry Point Rd, New Bern, NC, over the Christmas holidays. After I checked out I realized that I left my leather jacket in the closet. I called the hotel and told the front desk that I left an item in the room and I was on my way back to pick it up. I was told that the room was cleaned and the person that cleaned the room was gone and they would call me the next day, it would probably placed in the lost and found. No one called me back, so I call the hotel and I was told that no items were turned in. I called back the next day and asked to speak to the manager. I was transferred to the manager but she didn't pickup the phone, so I left a voice message. She never called me back. I called her several times, she never picked. I was able to speak to the front desk and I was told that they talked to the person that cleaned the room and she said that she didn't find the jacket. I opened a case with corporate and they told me that they would contact the hotel. I waited for two months and never heard from the hotel and they closed my case. Please be aware, that if you stay here, some of your items may end of missing.

No hot water, no TV, no one was happy in the entire place. It was clean, and the breakfast is good but it wasn't worth the price. Told us no room was available with a tub yet, they had one open when we checked in. Have to be a special member to get to rent certain rooms, yet they let "friends" come and hang out all day and use the place.

My family and I just stayed here for a week, and needless to say we will not return. Check in was good, but they do advertise hot breakfast and that is not true. Housekeeping only cleans every 3 days and it's minimal at best. My husband had to vacuum the floor because no one came in to clean until I left a tag on the door and asked for the room to be cleaned. On the 3rd night as we were watching TV a roach was crawling up the wall and I was greeted by a roach on my way to the bathroom at 2 am. The fridge was dirty and smelled. The sofa bed needs a new mattress it was stained terribly. The 5th night family came to check in and it was 4:30 and there room was not cleaned. The bed wasn't made and the TV in the room was on, they were given a room down the hall from me. The front desk were not friendly accept for the petite lady with brown hair. With Covid I expected a little more cleanliness. We checked out a day early.

After a long exhausting day of work and travel, I was really looking forward to getting to my room to rest. Walking into the hotel, I noticed trash on the ground in the entry way which is never a good sign. The hotel physically appeared to be a newer updated hotel. We booked for two nights through Priceline and thought we were getting a great deal. Well, we enter the lobby to check in and there is no one behind the desk, only a hand written note saying they’ll be back. Once we finally check in after waiting several minutes for someone to return, we enter our room. The room smelled musty which was surprising because the hotel looked newer. I ignore it and get ready for bed. Again I’m exhaust bed and finally lay down... (my husband is already asleep) I notice that I smell a faint scent of urine. Now I’m hoping and telling myself it’s in my head and try to go to sleep. I wake up in the morning exhausted and decide to just get ready and start my day. I go to take a shower and notice there is mildew and mold built up in the cracks and the bottom of the tub is filthy. I cringe but get in to shower, the water drains very slow and now I’m standing in a filthy tub with standing water. As I’m getting ready, I noticed there was just plain filth and grime pooled under the sink and around the cracks of the bathroom door. I call the front desk to cancel my second night and they tell me Because I booked through Priceline they wouldn’t refund the money for the unused portion. As I’m on the phone I notice the phone had filth built up in all the cracks. There was also a ball of black hair in my sheets which certainly did not belong to my husband nor I. By the way, the phone is on the nightstand next to the bed and I noticed the urine smell was back... hmm definitely not in my head! Needless to say the clerk at the front desk was unapologetic and unsympathetic and told me if I wasn’t happy I should just leave and hung up on me. I did just that but I warn you do not stay here if you care about a clean place to sleep!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel 4 nights. The rooms were sizable and the bed was comfortable, but that's about all I can say. Website still advertises a full, hot breakfast, and the receptionist described it as a "continental" breakfast. However, your choices were coffee and some small muffin things wrapped in cellophane. I get that COVID-19 has put a strain on food service, but please let people know ahead of time.
Our room was at the end of the hall, so it seems their wifi doesn't have much range. We could barely get a signal. When I asked about a different room, I was told the hotel was sold out that night and it couldn't be done. I understand the problem, but it was 10 a.m. You'd think you could at least try.
Building was noisy. Small airport not too far away (obviously) and a motorcycle group rumbling around at all hours.
We had a storm come through the day before we were scheduled to leave, and had a water leak around one of our lights. Thankfully, we were able to change rooms for THAT. The room we switched to was a little bigger, but I don't think anyone had dusted for at least a month.
I'd suggest checking out a different hotel before deciding to stay here.

Actual manager called my wife a "hoe" and said that I was homeless I have spent over $10,000 > since April with choice hotels.. very unpleasant. + videos of room not clean and asked for Ozone machines to get rid of cigarette smell!

The allegations made are untrue. The guest clearly smoked in room and were told they were banned. Never complained about finding ashes until GM advised them of ban and never requested a Ozone machine. Manager was approached by guest's female companion who was belligerent, cursing and threatening. Female companion even came back inside hotel after she was told to leave. Hotel contacted law enforcement regarding her failing to follow hotel policy of being banned. Manager never mentioned anything about them being homeless and is unaware of their living situation. Last month, the guests were involved in a domestic altercation which several guests witnessed. Law enforcement was called then and was well aware of the guest. The GM told guest infront of law enforcement if there were any more issues, they would be banned from property.

Booked here for 4 day's. Don't stay here a total disgusting disgrace. No pool because they were resurfacing it . They painted the pool, and the small was unbearable. I had to block the back door open because we couldn't breath because we were getting sick.. Just stupid because the place was booked for the air show. The shower had mold . Closet doors were off the track and broken, the carpet was dirty and worn out ., No washer and dryer, tiolet seat was broken, and more . Never heard anything from the manager, other people were complaining but nothing. Do not stop or go here a total disaster.
