I was in the Matthews area for business. I chose the Lemmond House B&B as a safer alternative to some of the area hotels. The green room was large and decorated well. The king bed and pillows were comfortable. The jacuzzi tub and tile shower were nice as well. I had early meetings so was only able to enjoy breakfast...

Our first of many stays at the Lemmond House. Connie and Bill are a great team. Breakfast was perfect and right on time every morning. Felt a little spoiled really. Rooms are large and inviting. As far as the location, truly in walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

First off, Bill and Connie were soooo sweet and did a great hosting job. Since we are vegetarians, Bill and Connie did cater to our needs, no problem. The house is very lovely and it has two rooms, blue and green. We stayed in the green room. When we got in the room, everything was set up nicely and the...

We stayed here for a long weekend while my husband went for a job interview and we looked at a few houses around the Charlotte area. Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to arrive at 530 in the morning and waiting until after breakfast to ask for payment. they asked us every morning what time we wanted...

While I'm sad to give this review, I feel other travelers need to be aware. I'm sure in the past this B and B may have been a nice one. Our visit was one I wouldn't wish on anyone. While the gentleman Innkeeper was very nice, the lady was hostile and unwelcoming. There are personal issues there that a paying...

While I normally would not respond to a bad review, I feel compelled to do so now.I'm so sorry that our guest felt uncomfortable on her visit to our Inn. We strive to give the best service possible and our reviews reflect that. My wife and I were having a private conversation that was unfortunately overheard by the guest upstairs....

A repeat stay at Lemmond House was just as satisfying as the first visit. There are only two suites in this charming old home, and each is immaculately clean, with very comfortable beds, a nice ensuite bath with a jetted tub and soft, big towels. The innkeepers, Bill and Connie, are welcoming, kind and helpful, and they know a lot...

Exactly what we were looking for in a B&B. Immaculate, comfortable and welcoming. The owners, Bill and Connie are very gracious, and boy do they know how to make delicious and plentiful breakfasts! We expect to be staying at Lemmond House anytime we are in the Charlotte area.

Bill and Connie, Innkeepers at Lemmond House, were friendly, kind, and accommodating. The historic 100-year old house has been completely and beautifully renovated. We were so comfortable in the gorgeous Green Room - with its King size bed, comfortable sofa, and full bathroom. We enjoyed a delicious and filling breakfast every morning of our visit - which included a gluten...

I could just say "ditto" to the review by "spgarrepy" as they covered our experience and our opinion perfectly. The Lemmond House has only 2 rooms which lent itself to a very quiet, restful experience. Bill and Connie do not have a formal style yet their hospitality is tender, kind and attentive without being intrusive. I definitely agree with the...

We've stayed at the Lemmond House B&B twice now, and both times it has been a fabulous experience. Bill and Connie are great hosts, friendly and knowledgeable about the Charlotte area. Matthews is quiet little town on the southeast side of Charlotte, and it has all the charms of a tight-knit community--local coffee shop, downtown shops, etc. This town has...
