The room floors were very wet and room smelled musky. The desk clerk offered to move us, but I said we would live with it. The second day, and the third check out day the floors were still wet.
The hot breakfast was eggs and sausage which was good. The waffle was ok. The orange juice looked like cloudy water. Did not see orange.
The best part coffee was provided in carafe mostly all day +++
Mr. Patel should never provide wet room floors to customers. They should be fresh smelling and clean, without excuses.
The desk clerks, and hot breakfast with fresh coffee made up for the bad.
The walk to our room, was musty and carpet dirty. Our room, i cranked the AC to mitigate the smell of carpet fresh and the cover of the AC fell off. I wrestled it back on and it fell off again the middle of the night. Beds are comfortable but the sheets don’t breath. Bathroom small and dated.
I will look elsewhere when I’m back in Maggie Valley.
If you want to change the heating/cooling settings one must get down on your knees, reach up under the non-removable window seat and make your changes. To see the settings and make the desired change, disabled or older adults will probably need assistance. And be sure you have a flashlight as you cannot see the settings! If you elect to stay here, we wish you the best as this is my last time here.
1. When I arrived, the front desk used my credit card and checked someone else in, Luckily I discovered it. The front desk person said he reversed the charge. I have to check my credit card statement to make sure.
2. The keys stopped on the last day before we check out. I asked front desk to reissue keys 3 times, and each time if did not work. However, the cleaning lady was able to open my door. I had to show the front desk lady that keys are not working. She said the lock battery was dead. I had to leave my door open when I load my car. She said the fault was the battery, not the hotel.
3. They claim to provide hot breakfast, but the only thing hot was the waffle machine. Even the toaster does not work,
4....... I am running out of time to write more,
"I think if you could get a place with your own hot tub it would be better then here. The public hot tub was not as good as I thought it was going to be. Not very warm and weak Jets"Read full review
"Check out your room condition before accepting it. Air condition may be on cooler temp to possibly dry wet floors or to cover musky smell."Read full review
