This place is fantastic. I travel a lot and have stayed in some places that were twice as bad for twice as much.Great spot if your trying to stay out of the hustle/bustle of travel towns Nice AMERICAN family run motel. Everything was great. Will return to stay again.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights while visiting the NC mountains. The proprietor was congenial and adjusted our bill, which was incorrect. The room seemed okay, had a comfortable king-size bed and a micro & fridge, and adequate space. That's the good news. The bad news is there is almost no insulation between floors (we were on the bottom floor, in a no-smoking room), and the noise level was incredible. The guy above us would awaken around 4:00 a.m. and leave around 5:00, and we heard every bit of noise he made -- seriously! After driving looking for a hotel for over 2.5 hours on our way to Bryson City we stopped in our favorite valley Maggie Valley, we called every place in Maggie Valley but no luck, so after looking on the Internet also we saw Comfort Inn had a room for 260 bucks, so my wife called to verify and a gentleman answered the phone at 2:30 am, confirmed yes they have 1 room left and we could have it for 149 with tax, no brainer there but the kicker was he gave us late check out because we arrived so late. We travel a lot and nobody has ever offered us a late check out for no cost, we needed that extra sleep, thanks... oh yes the room was Clean....

The owner Allen is one of the nicest people you could meet. His rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Pillows I've never had in any hotel - so soft and definitely no lumps. Solid price for a solid room. I would stay here the next time I go to Maggie Valley.

Comfortable bed and clean room. Sparsely decorated room smelled a little musty but we aired it out for a bit and it was fine. Husband said the shower was great. Owner was friendly and was spot on with his restaurant suggestion.
