Stayed here for one night coming in from Charleston. I’ve stayed in plenty hotels/motels in the area in my years but never here. Certainly don’t regret my stay, nice staff, nice location, everything was clean and upkept. Only reason I need to find another hotel for tonight is that the beds are too firm.. other than that, no issues!
Night staff are very friendly. That day staff have no clue what is going on, reported my tub not draining and the young girl behind the counter asked my room number and I told her. So I went about my business for the day. Came back at about 5pm tub was not fixed come to find out it was not even reported. Finally got it fixed by asking night person who called the manager who came to my room and did not have a mask on. Mind you signs all over the place saying to wear masks. How do you want others to wear them I the manager does not even wear one. Also found a very long black hair on my bed on night of check in.
I found this place to be inviting, clean, comfortable, and a good value for the area. Room was modern with nice bedding and offered a fridge and microwave. Special shout out to Marie at the front desk who provided exceptional customer service at check-in.
Basic older mid-range inn/ motel. Lots of biker traffic/ noise in the morning. Overnight it was not as noticeable. Due to Covid, no breakfast available. Bed was comfortable and room had everything you would need for an overnight stay. Indoor entries. Strange elevator placement required a long walk to and from if you park near the reception desk. alternate entrance right by the elevator.
All we needed this night was an adequate, clean place to sleep. And we found it here in Waynesville and hit the mountains again This one is had a comfy bed & nice clean sheets, smooth sheets and an abundance of clean towels. We had a good nights rest.
