Our room was clean and comfortable.
Our mattress was so soft and comfortable. Pillows(wow) 5 very nice pillows. Shower was roomy and water pressure was great and water was hot. Staff was friendly and accommodating they have a great area inside check in to rest or read a book, play a game or just do nothing. Back side of inn is on the river with huge deck that goes to the waters edge. Across the street is a great place for breakfast. ( best biscuits I have had). This is a great choice for rest and relaxation.

Thank You! We are glad you enjoyed the property we fell in love with in 1995. We are all getting a little older but the creek never changes. Always beautiful.

Enjoyed our two nights, beds pretty comfortable, would have liked a soft blanket but it was a kinda scratchy cotton one. The room was clean and had a nice size refrigerator with freezer for ice packs. Coffee in the room and also in the office, that always makes me feel like they do care about your needs and comfort. I swam in the pool in the afternoon which was nice, it needed to have some bugs fished out with the pool skimmer but not a big deal. The pool is not heated but it was refreshing. I will definitely return here and will book a creek side room.

Thank You for staying with us. We really appreciate it. We keep the pool at 83 degrees. It is heated but if you are used to very warm pools you might feel it is cooler. Have a great summer.

My family and I stayed here October 27 thru 29th.
This Inn and Villas are the best place to stay in Maggie Valley hands down.
Our room was creekside screened in pourch. This secluded view is priceless
Simply hearing the creek run by.
This Inn is all local run and operated and honestly offers the best rates as well.
The Inn is very quite and peaceful non smoking as well.
The staff is like family and do care about you and your stay.

I just got a email from them as we checked out this am October 30th.
I had left a credit card in the room fumbling thru my wallet.
Housekeeping found it and turned it in to front desk immediately.
Thank you to them especially.
I just spoke to Keith and my card is being held and secured till my
Return November 26th.
Thank You Keith!!
Note
Make your reservation early the Inn does fill up .
Looking forward to our return.

Thank You for such a wonderful review. We have so many guests that return year after year, that it truly feels that we just have one big family reunion all year. We are blessed to have a wonderful staff, that in the most part has been with us for 10-20 years. We're glad you returned "home" and looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks.

Nice location and peaceful. I did not like that we asked for a particular room location way in advance and they blew it off. The management is skimping lots on costs. They shut down their hot tub, no breakfasts, lost of do not do this signs 😂, (do not burn wood, do not roast marshmallows over the firepit, do not fill your coolers with ice)cushions at their fire pit table sags and appear old, the slats in one of the swings was broken out, stuff growing in one of their gutters. Microwave was not completely clean, shower heads are cheap, corrosion around handles in the bathroom, and mold growing on the building where it meets the roof over the hot tub. Just facts guys. Super location and seems they are just going for numbers in travelers. Glad to be home.

Hi. Thank you for staying with us. I feel compelled to respond to your comments. Your issues started with the room. You booked the room TWO days before you arrived. We had been booked for almost 6 months prior for your stay. Many of our guests book a year in advance for the month of October. We are already more then 70% booked for the weekends in October for next year. You were fortunate to get a room that someone cancelled at the last minute. All room requests were handled in the order the reservation was made. You were the last reservation booked. I'm also sorry that you couldn't cook your Marsh Mellow's in the gas fire pit on our Gazebo, or start a wood fire in the charcoal grill. Unfortunately we have to put up signs so that those who don't understand the risk of an open fire next to a wood building and under a canopy of trees will not do it. I understand that in these times some people are tired of rules about many things. But there are some rules for the safety of others. When we are told we can reopen the HOT Tub we will. You must have a permit from the Board of Health to do so. Until the county allows it because of Covid, it will not be. The hot tub roof is intentionally moss covered. We chose to have it blend in with the natural surroundings. We hope you and your family have a great year.

Nice place to stay. We have stayed here a few times. The rooms are always clean and the staff are always friendly. The hotel is also always decorated for the season. They have screened in porches which is perfect for anyone traveling with young kids. The porches also have tables and chairs so you can eat outside if you want.

Upon entry into the room, the chair outside on the porch was filthy. That was the introduction to a room where the fireplace did not work, there was hair in the bath tub and shower. We also found the bed to be very uncomfortable and small and to finish it all off it’s filled with mold. Our allergies were so bad that we immediately checked out the morning following our checki in. We left one day early and upon telling the manager/owner about this adventure, he just said OK. Don’t go and expect a refund for anything. If you wanna go back and feel like you’re staying somewhere from 50 years ago. This is the place to go. I will never go back there again. I would advise you to look at hiring hotels or cabins.

I’m sorry you were dissatisfied with your stay. I believe our hotel is extremely clean. We get many comments every day about the comfort of our beds. Perhaps you are used to an extremely hard or soft bed. I am the owner and I’m out of town so I know you didn’t talk to me, and Alice is our manager. I’m not sure who you spoke with, however I apologize if you felt that we didn’t care. We want every guest to leave happy and return year after year. Are beds are standard Queens or Kings. They are the exact same size of any king or queen bed that you would find anywhere in this country…

The staff are so hospitable and take such pride in this Creekside paradise. I adore the abundant fall decorations and the wealth of seating choices along the creek(covered for inclement weather, hammock, swinging Adirondack chairs, rocking chairs). Everything was so well-maintained. We didn't use the pool but I peaked in and that looked lovely as well. We stayed twice and my favorite room was the standard room with a screen enclosure looking out onto the creek.

My mother has always loved this place and we have too. However, we booked two rooms in May for July and asked that they be side by side or adjoining. We were all in the pool and heard my husband ask for this. When we got here today, we were given rooms 104 and 109. When we asked about rooms together, we were told it wasn’t in the computer and they are booked. Therefore, we are celebrating five doors down. I’m not very pleased by this at all. Perhaps video or audio record your call when asking for special arrangements. I would also think that since the rooms were paid for and booked together, they would automatically be side by side. We are very disappointed.

Hi Amanda, we realize you are very disappointed in not being directly next door to your Mom. We do try out best to meet special requests, and most of the time we are able to. Almost all of the creekside porch rooms were booked out over a year in advance. Many of our repeat guests like you, ask for the same room year after year. Some as long back as the late 80"s. We assign rooms in the order we receive them. We do try to accommodate as many requests as possible, but they are never guaranteed. We truly appreciate that you have stayed with us several times. If you book again with us, Please call directly and ask for Alice, she will do everything possible to make sure you have exactly what you are asking for. Once again, we wish you the best, and we wish we could have given you exactly what you wished for.

Creekside deck is always the best part of our stay and is the perfect way to end your day. The creek is a fascinating and a relaxing area to sit.
The outdoor area offers rockers, picnic tables, deck chairs, hammock, grills, firepit. There is an indoor pool and a hot tub area. Coffee is available, but no breakfast. Packaged snacks and vending machines are available and the best pancake house is across the street. Rooms are clean, but small and our room needed updated but most of our time was spent by the deck. Post office end of the property was very noisy in the middle of the night and early a.m. which woke us up several times. Inn keeper offered no discount for this annoyance. We would return and request a room away from the noise and for a more updated space.

Hi, Thank you first of all for staying with us. We appreciate your comments and take everything we can constructively. We spend a tremendous amount of money upgrading every year. Unfortunately the size of our rooms can not be changed. We have spent lots of our energy on making our creekside unique, and special and have decks, screened in porches, etc to expand the guests "space". I apologize for any noise the Post Office made during your stay but their is literally nothing we can do to change that. Very rarely has anyone ever commented on noise from them, however, if you return please call us directly and we will do everything we can to insure that we put you in the quietest area possible.
