booked on line, arrived was given room 105 it was a room hidden back in a corner. think it was converted into a room maybe a storage place at one time. ok so beds were comfortable and pet friendly and could walk around town. but there was dried up stuck to the carpet some type of bug caterpillar, the tub sloped in the middle making it difficult to stand, shower pressure was bad, when we left for the day the room was not cleaned, had to gather up towels and go to desk for clean ones. could tell it was a smoking room from days gone by.

Booked this based on recent reviews. At check-in, there is a hand-written sign behind the desk stating the fees for pets. We have an 80lb dog and their fees are $30/night for any dog 41lbs or over. The website only states pet fees may apply. Since it was past the cancellation period, we had no choice but to pay up. This almost doubled the cost of the room for the 5 nights we were there. We stayed next door at the Cardinal Inn last year for a fraction of the price. This hike is due to new ownership. Water line was cut twice while we were there and had no water for several hours. Housekeeper was super nice and friendly but front desk people not so much. There are plenty of places to stay here that won't kill you on the pet fees.

The description states, "We have the only kiddie slide in M.V. at our seasonal heated pool." There is no kiddie slide & pool was definitely not heated. It was clean, but freezing cold! Grands didn't mind the cold & had a great time anyway. Room was standard. It was clean & no bugs. Don't think the one we were in had been updated. Is ok, if on a limited budget.
