I just love this area pre season, with its crisp mountain air, invigorating hikes, spectacular scenic views and remarkable wildlife. At days end, I landed at the Alpine Inn, in Little Switzerland, NC. As with most things in my life when I go with the flow, I stumbled upon this gem in the pre season and was glad for it....

Had a awesome stay. Beautiful views. Will be back soon. Owners very friendly will recommend to friends. Had great time visiting with other guests from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Had home made fresh bread in the morning while enjoying the view.

I stumbled across this place through my searches after I knew I wanted to find a beautiful place in the mountains with a view. This place did not disappoint!! By far one of the best places I've stayed at in terms of a great view. This place is for nature lovers who love that homey feel. I loved just drinking...

We chose this hotel for the price and the great online reviews. But we've larned to not trust those reviews too much. The place is old. Very Old. Not updated in any way. Our room was clean, but damp & moldy. View is OK but that's really about all. The price is high for what you get. Breakfast is extra...

Cozy, friendly and rustic with the best sunrise view over the mountains I have ever seen. I just hope the WIFI is working in our room when we visit again in October. Breakfast was tasty but a little on the high carb side but everything was fresh and delicious.

The owners at the alpine inn will be the highlight of your stay. They are friendly, out going and ready to do all they can for your comfort. The inn is just feet off the road but don't let that scare you. It's seldom traveled and because it's filled sharp curves the cars pass by slowly. The inn is built...

Cool little place to stay. The location is fantastic! The place is very clean. The fire pit was great on a cool night. The hosts were some of the nicest people we've ever met. The breakfast was very tasty and a very generous portion. The shower height was strange, it was probably the right height only for someone shorter than...

I can't say enough good things about this inn or it's owners. The views are breathtaking. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Ron and Sue treat you like they have known you forever. We will always stay at the Alpine Inn when we go to this area of the NC mountains.

No there's no TV or phone but isn't it nice to unplug every once in a while. Good prices and excellent service

Sunrise view is breath taking from every room. Ron and Susan are very friendly and helpful when you need to find your way around. Also went gem mining at the Rio Doce Gem Mine, lots of fun and beautiful gems. Lots of places to taste the local food and chat with the people.
