My husband summed up our experience of this property by saying, "it reminds me of staying at my sister's house". The location of the lodge is its best attribute, with beautiful views of Lake Lure from virtually every room. The lodge itself is rustic and charming and reminded of a mountain cabin with its log construction. While the location was...

It is really nice.I want to be selfish and not share the goodness so there will always be a room for me and the prices won't go up,but that wouldn't be fair or nice. They deserve me to be fair and nice .My wife and I enjoyed our stay so much,I would call it a honeymoon.Everybody working there are sweet...

We had an amazing stay at The Lodge, stunning scenery! We stayed in Hole in One, which had a lovely private balcony with a view of the lake. The grounds lead down to the lake and the boat house, which has a large seating area on top, so peaceful, to just sit and watch the lake, and mountains. Breakfast was...

I had the opportunity to stay at The Lodge on Lake Lure for a week. The Lodge is very unique. Each room is a different them and it's right on the lake. The surrounding grounds are beautiful. The lodge has a nice dock area with tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the beauty of the lake. You can even...

I met my brother last weekend in lake lure at the lodge. Finally got to introduce him to his nephew. We had no time to plan and pretty much had accepted the 3 of us would be bunking up at the local motel 6. Fortunately we found the lodge online and booked a room. The reservation for a single room...

We are former property owners on Lake Lure. We never had the opportunity to check out this Lodge before. After selling our home there we returned for a visit and chose the Lodge to stay in. What a delight. My husband and I have not stayed in many Bed and Breakfast style hotels before as we like our privacy. We...

My wife and I had a great stay. The staff was always attentive. The food is the best that you will find in the area. The decor in the lodge is eclectic but all very well done and adds to the charm of the place. I enjoyed that the lodge did not feel like a chain hotel; I would consider...

Our biggest mistake staying here? We only stayed one night. From the time that you walk in to the time that you check out, they take care of you. I can't say enough about our stay, which was for a bday celebration for my girlfriend. UNBEATABLE views and just absolute relaxation. We stayed in the Secret Garden and was perfect...

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing two day stay at the Lodge. The only problem, it just wasn't long enough. We found the room clean and inviting. The grounds are beautiful with beautiful views of the Lake Lure. The lake is clean, cool and fresh. The staff at the Lodge are very friendly and ready to help with...
