This was our second trip to The Lodge on Lake Lure. This time was to celebrate our 46th wedding Anniversary and would not have wanted to stay anywhere else but this lovely B & B. The staff was very gracious and helpful during our 4 day stay. Our room (the fortune cookie) had a private covered deck, and outstanding views...

The trip here was a surprise from my husband and he did great. The views of the lake are great and the breakfast was wonderful--Carolina French toast--WOW. We stayed in the Mellow Yellow room which had a large bathroom and a fireplace. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and service oriented. We will be back.

We actually found a one night special on Expedia and turned it into a three night, four day stay. The breakfast was wonderful. The afternoon wine was splendid and the evening sweets were tantalizing. The room was first class, the bathroom amenities were great and the bed was awesome! The private balcony topped of the evening for a glass of...

Very noisy, could here people walking on the floor over us, no microwave, no coffee until 8:00, shower was broken, no fresh towels. The ice bucket had mold with old water in it. The table next to the bed was full of dust. I have traveled all over the world and when you pay $300.00 plus a night I expect...

We value our guests comments and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We regret that your stay with us was below our exceptional standards. On your welcome letter and at the front desk (if unattended at the time) is a number where you may reach staff at any moment twenty-four hours a day. We would like for you to...

We stayed at the lodge for 4 nights. The accommodations are first rate and the decor gives you the feeling and comfort of a true mountain lodge. Many rooms have a private balcony and overlook Lake Lure. The room was well appointed and exceptionally clean. We had dinner at the lodge's Tree Top Restaurant and the service and food were...

We stayed in this inn years ago, it changed owners and was shut down for a long time for renovations, so we strayed away. Tried it again this year and were quite pleased. Staff friendly and professional. Room was clean and well furnished. It was a bit noisy because of a vent in the hall but this was no major...

The Lodge itself is gorgeous. Loved the true Lodge feel. Breakfast was fantastic and you can make reservations for dinner if you want to stick around the lodge. We didn't have dinner here - but spent just as much at Larkins on the Lake and the service at Larkins wasn't great and the food probably wasn't as good either -...

We love every trip we make to the Lodge on Lake Lure. Beautiful rooms, great view and tasty breakfast. The staff was extremely professional and helpful. One of us is a vegan and the chef accomodated morning breakfast perfectly.

The Lodge on Lake Lure is exceptional for this area which is served by rather mediocre-looking motels, to say the least. The setting was beautiful, the room large and comfortable (air-conditioned quietly by forced air not a noisy thermostated window unit), the bathroom luxurious, and the breakfast more than ample, especially the wonderful homemade biscuits. The staff was friendly and...

We stayed at The Lodge this past weekend to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday without the kids. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The restaurant was AMAZING. Loved every bit of our trip. We stayed in The Secret Garden room. We liked the privacy the room offered.
