This is our 2nd visit to Kure beach as a family and our 2nd time staying at one of the Peterson properties. The accommodations are very clean. The owner, Nancy, is very much involved in her business. She follows up with her guests daily as she performs her daily duties as an owner/housekeeper/pool cleaner/ anything else you may want to add. The hospitality at her properties sets the bar very high for the entire Kure and Carolina beach area. The value you receive makes it a truly wonderful vacation experience.

a quaint place at Kure which is a quick stroll to the pier. The place is located on a side road, so you don't have the traffic that others on the main drag have. The pool is well kept as well. 2 big thumbs up!

We were looking for a place to have a few days of peace and quiet (and fun!) before school started back. Wow, did I luck up with Hidden Treasure Inn! A great little room, nice amenities (full size fridge, coffee maker, linens included), and the pool was superb! Restaurants, the pier, and the beach all within walking distance (two blocks). Nancy, we loved our stay and will definitely be back!

The best part of this small inn is its privacy, peacefulness and seclusion. It's just two blocks from the ocean but manages to avoid the crowds and the noise of the strip along Kure Beach's waterfront. With only four units, even when they are full you will always find time for a private dip in the pool or a quiet glide on one of the two decks shelter by awnings and surrounded by flowers. The price is right too, as a room here compares favorably with one of the high rise condos or motels where you have to share a pool, if it has one, with dozens of people or climb stairs and traipse down hallways or sit on balconies decorated with cast off beach towels and toys. Plus you are out of the salt-laden breezes which coat everything with a sticky film. Our room - the Egret - was the smallest but it included a king size bed, small dining table with chairs, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and tv. A closet and tall chest of drawers provided plenty of space for clothes for the week's stay. If there's any drawback to the room it would be the small size of the shower. If that's a problem for you, ask if one of the larger rooms has more space for a bathroom. Nancy , the owner, was friendly and always ready to lend extra kitchen equipment when we needed it.
