Jill and Al are an outstanding host and hostess - superb hospitality and culinary experience. Away from the busy life where peace and quiet absorb all of you. Many fun places in nature to visit close by.

Went up to the hills for weekend looked for place on www.bringfido.com. This pleasant little B&B came up. The owners are very nice and the room and breakfast was great. A little out of the way for all the local touristy stuff ( Grandfather Mountain, Boone , Blowing Rock and all the other great sites in the area) but worth...

My boyfriend and I celebrate our anniversary every July by escaping to the mountains. It can get fairly hot and humid where we live and an escape to a cooler climate is something we desperately need mid June-July. We've stayed a few places near the Banner Elk area, but nothing can compare to the wonderful stay we had at the...

My husband and I decided to get away for the weekend and stumbled upon this bed and breakfast and immediately called to book a reservation. Jill was very friendly and we were set and on our way to Grandfather mountain! Unfortunately on our way we had car trouble and let Jill know we would be late. Jill and Chef Al...

We had not visited Alluring View in almost 4 years and really needed to go back to this place that is like a place close to heaven to us with 360 degree views and friendly hosts. Jill and Chef Al have always been so accommodating to us since our first visit with them 8 years ago. We felt like we...

Al makes the best pancakes ever. The breakfasts were delicious. The view is spectacular, right out your window. We were there during a cold November week, but the room was cozy and comfortable. Al and Jill were very accommodating. On our last day, snow began to fall and there was ice on the road. Jill made a call and made...

We tried Alluring View, which is a pet friendly BnB, about 20 miles from Boone. Although the breakfast was excellent, I cannot recommend this BnB. The layout is simply too small. It is like walking into the host family's very small kitchen/living room, and feeling like you are intruding. You must walk past the owners while they are fixing their...

I hate to give a bad review because we had a great time on our trip, but our room was dirty and the stay wasn't quite what I was expecting. Breakfast was delicious, but awkward. The room, again, was dirty. Spider webs, and dead bugs (I hope not a roach, but something very similar and large) were on the rocking...

The owners are very gracious. The Bed and Breakfast is close to Linville attractions. The breakfast was the best I've EVER had. Definitely an excellent meal. They were extremely accomdating with my yellow lab.

Very nice home with nice owners. Terrific view from all sides of the house. We had our own deck for our stay as well. Linville gorge and linville caverns were just down the road. Cost us about 100 a night including tax and a fantastic Breakfast each am.
