We had an amazing experience here. Our meals were AMAZING, service was outstanding, and our stay was just wonderful. The staff made you feel at home, I felt like I had known them my whole life. The best part is they were part of a very special weekend for me... I got engaged! The staff was part of it and...

Our family is spread from GA to VA, so NC is a great meeting place, and we couldn't have picked a more family friendly, clean, fun place to visit than the Octagon House which is part of the property of the Mountain Magnolia Inn. The staff thought of everything a family would need, even including lots of coffee, a complete...

I can't say enough great things about my stay! Our room (the Rose Room) was warm and inviting and the staff was incredibly friendly. We actually received a special for a free dinner with our stay and the food was amazing!! I will definitely be back!

Thanks for the great review. Glad you found everything so satisfying. We have busy this winter painting, buffing floors and enhancing guest amenities and it's nice to get your positive feedback. Pete

My wife and I spent the night at the Mountain Magnolia Inn last week and were immediately enchanted with the Inn and with Hot Springs, NC in general. The Inn is a three story Victorian home that is finished with period pieces. The downtown area of Hot Springs was a short, pleasant walk along the river. We had the Walnut...

Thanks for your nice comments particularly about the period antiques and the nice walk to town. My wife and I have always loved the warmth and beauty of period pieces and the inn gave us a template to display some of our favorites and even purchase more. I too love the location of the Inn in relation to town. About...

We stayed here for our anniversary a decade ago and then again this past week, so great to go back! The Inn definitely has charm and a rustic aura from it's historical background and is a wonderful place to visit.. We did appreciate the free WiFi as our provider (AT&T) did not service Hot Springs. Just be aware that no...

There is not one single thing that wasn't perfect about our stay! From the pre elopement planning with Beth to the moment we left - perfect! The staff is amazingly friendly, the Inn is beautiful, food is to die for and the area is lovely. My husband and I plan to return each year for our anniversary.

Pretty place and friendly people. But... they ran out of propane which meant driving to another place for breakfast and no bath! Very disappointed that we spent nearly $300.00 for a night here with absolutely no offer for a discount. If they had I might have considered staying there again. Buyer beware!!!

The weather has been unseasonably cold and we ran out of propane for the 2nd time in 15 years. Fortunately it was in the wee hours of the morning so the building was 68 when our breakfast chef called to tell me she had no stove for cooking. We quickly called our sister property in town and made arrangements to...

My husband and I visited last week as part of an anniversary trip to the mountains. This was supposed to be our "special" weekend dinner. We did not stay at the inn itself. We aren't "foodies" per se, but we do like good food. First, the good: the staff was very friendly and the setting is cute/quaint. Meals are served...

I'm sorry that your dining experience with us didn't live up to your expectations. I know that when I spend a fair amount for a special occasion my expectations are high as well. Spicing is a tricky area as everyone's taste buds are different. Chef Chris Brown tents to be moderate in his approach and most diners give him rave...

We stayed at the Blue Heron Cottage on Oct 12 just for 1 night and it was exactly what we needed. We wanted quaint, quiet, comfortable and we wish we could've stayed longer. A short walk downtown for food and drink and finished our night off relaxing on the deck overlooking the river. Cannot wait to go back. The neighbors...

I stayed here last September when my sister visited and then again this May when my son and his wife got married at the Mountain Magnolia Inn.
