Common areas are charming and appointed with antiques appropriate to age of inn. Beautiful views from the dining room. HOWEVER, the room (212) was nothing like the online photos. Barely 18” of floor space around a queen bed. A bathroom comparable to that of a 747 airplane. Almost too small for even 1 person! Seriously! The walls were paper thin and with holiday partiers, little to no sleep as the room is over the kitchen. Kitchen crew began about 6:00 a.m. Sorry to have to report but it does not seem fair to do otherwise. Perhaps room 212 is just the worst room and others are hopefully better/different.
We're just back from our second visit to the Echo Mountain Inn in the last year. It's a very friendly, homey and comfortable place to be. Like a trip to an old cabin with good friends. My wife is already talking about our next 1200 mile road trip to Hendersonville and the Echo Mountain Inn.
The Echo Mountain Inn is a great getaway. We had a wonderful stay. Our breakfasts were delicious. The staff wonderful. Our Goldilocks room was perfect for us. Beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays. Fresh coffee at all times. Great sitting areas to relax. Great gift shop. Very close to downtown Hendersonville. The Mountain ride to the Inn is beautiful. Beautiful location. We will definitely be staying here for all our Hendersonville trips in the future.
My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend breather at the Echo Mountain inn! Oh my, the breakfast was awesome every morning along with the choices on the buffet! Scenery just beautiful! We will re-visit!!
We recently stayed at Echo Mountain Inn for my husband's birthday weekend. It is a charming B&B and the staff was extremely friendly. We stayed in the Plum Room and had great views of the mountains. The breakfast was tasty and ample. It was in a great location for touring Hendersonville and surrounding areas. We enjoyed the Sandburg Home and Sierra Nevada brewery. Asheville is an easy drive too. Our room was quiet, bed comfortable and shared common areas great to enjoy as well. Highly recommend EMI for a nice getaway!
My sister found this for us to stay in when coming to Hendersonville and it was amazing. The views were spectacular, the rooms were cozy and had all the amenities, the breakfast served in the morning was AMAZING (LOVED THE GRITS!!), the place was beautiful and had lots of space to do things,.... couldn't have asked for a better B and B...Everyone was helpful and friendly. Loved the game room, the fireplace room (though it should have been on the one night), the enclosed and outside verandas, ample parking.. Will stay here again.
Nice room, beautiful location with great views from common rooms, friendly staff eager to share information on local travel, great breakfast, convenient for local excursions of which there are many great choices.
It was very peaceful and quiet! We stayed in the Royal Suite with beautiful mountain views and beautiful sunrises! The young gentlemen who was the owner of the inn even helped me get my husband's wheelchair down the stairs. We also had a good breakfast every morning which was average. Our handles to our jacuzzi tub were broken off but I'm sure they know to fix it.We will go back when we get a chance.
I looked and looked for a reasonably priced place to take my group of five, including a ninety-one year old and a three year old. Echo Mountain got us all in one room and had the best rate. To top it off, we all got a full breakfast in a lovely setting included with the room. I was amazed at the price and the quality of our experience. I actually overpaid a little bit on purpose because they deserved it. If you are looking to stay in this area, quit looking. You found it.
The owners were welcoming and friendly… eager to share some history of the inn, as well as some suggestions about the locale. We felt connected to our experience from the beginning. Our room was super clean and comfortable. The location is superb, offering great scenery yet close access to the conveniences of Hendersonville.
